Hi All -

I'm new to LJ, and I hope I'm posting this right.

I joined because I found this Journeyman fanfiction community and I plan to read everyone's stories.  I've already read bessemerprocess's story Five People Who Learned Dan Vassar's Secret and loved it.

I also have a story going of my own.  I only write in my spare time, and haven't been doing so in any serious capacity for long, so I'm not as good at it as I'd like to be to do any Journeyman story justice; but you've gotta start somewhere...

Anyway, I don't really get LJ's interface yet, so I haven't posted any of the chapters here; but you can read it at my site:  http://www.dinfinity.net/writing

I have at least one more chapter to go, but it should be two more before it's done (I know the main plot points I need to hit - I just don't know about the filler yet...but it should probably span two more chapters...I'm assuming at this point).  Not sure when those'll go up...I have a vacation coming up that I'm starting to plan for this week and it'll take up most of this month.

Anyway, thanks for making a fanfiction community - hopefully there'll be more participation in the future!

Oy, it may be a little late but I've been on a HUUUUGE 'Save Journeyman!!' kick recently and just had to write something yesterday. So I came up with this yesterday afternoon. Welcome to journeymanfic, a new community for fanfiction about the Journeyman television series which airs on NBC on Monday nights at 9:00PM Central and 10:00PM Eastern time.

The series stars Kevin McKidd as "Dan Vasser", Gretchen Egolf as "Katie Vasser", Moon Bloodgood as "Livia Beale", Reed Diamond as "Jack Vasser", and Brian Howe as "Hugh Skillen".

"Dan Vasser" is just an everyday Joe until suddenly he begins to time travel. This causes havoc in his life and also emotional upheaval when he finds himself torn between keeping things right with his wife "Katie" and the feelings he still has for lost love "Livia".

The community welcomes fanfiction of all types, gen, het, or slash. Also, any length is okay, very short or very long or anything in between. Please clearly label all posts and put stories behind an LJ cut. State ratings and warnings when needed. Please abide by LJ's rules (yeah, I know they're confusing sometimes but they mean well so do the best you can, no under 18 sexual anything for anybody).
