| About: | This community is for those of you that need a little bit of inspiration to write in your journal...whether it be your Live Journal or your paper journal. Every Sunday 7 journal prompts will be posted to help inspire you for the week. They cover Monday through Sunday so you can answer one a day or if you like all at once. You may just choose one prompt and use that for an entry. These prompts may be written, themed or visual.
Members in the community like to answer the prompts posted within the journal gems community for everyone to read. You are MORE than welcome to do so and it is encouraged that you do so. Many members not only post their answers in this community but they also cross post to their personal journal. Whatever works for you is just fine.
Members can also post their own prompts at any time (written or visual). If you keep an art journal you can post pictures of your art. If you keep a songwriting journal feel free to share your lyrics. Anything that you would put in your own diary/journal no matter what kind is welcome here. Feel free to express yourself and inspire others in the process.
A few simple guidelines
- Please keep photos/large posts under a lj-cut. (instructions can be found here)
- No flaming/abusing other members or otherwise trollish behaviour.
- People have the right to their own opinion. You don't have to agree with it but you do need to respect it.
- You are more than welcome to submit gems to Xrellgirl@gmail.comX (remove the X's).
- General chit chat is welcome in the community. Feel free to get to know one another!
Joining
When you post in the community for the first time you can either copy and paste the questionaire below so we can get to know you better, or just post a simple "Hi i'm new" type post. Either works just fine. :) We'd love it if you introduce yourself because we really enjoy welcoming new members.
