I feel like CBS is giving us a new vid every couple days. This one is over a minute and it’s not hugely different, but it’s different.

 

Yesterday's "Parade" magazine (the Sunday supplement) mentions Jorja - but only in passing:

Q: I'm glad that CSI's Jorja Fox will be back for a few epoisodes this fall. But what about Gary Dourdan? Did they kill him off in last season's cliffhanger?

A: You'll have to wait for the fall premiere to find out. But we can tell you that Dourdan doesn't continue as a CSI regular. Instead, there's a new investigator played by Lauren Lee Smith, 28, last seen on The L Word. "It's daunting to join such a well-oiled cast," she tells us. "My character is a jokester who brings some not-always-appreciated humor to the forensics lab."


They must be the only people who don't know that Warrick is dead - all the spoilers have said that Sara is returning to Vegas for Warrick's funeral. Plus the fact that the Under-Sheriff shot him through the neck, then leaned in the window to deliver a second shot. If Warrick lives, then the Under-Sheriff is exposed as the mob link. Though I do expect them to do a long, extended death scene... not that I have any interest in watching.

After the TV Guide article confused everyone, it's nice that Buddy TV's Kris De Leon stepped up with a simple explanation. Yes, it's what we all thought, but it's nice to have confirmation.

In addition to the first episode of the new season, Fox’s return will include the third episode, which she filmed during the last week of May.
