ALRIGHT, here it is, the whole... thing.

What will be happening, is ALL the money we make between now and the deadline, will be going to the "Chosen Charity" in Jorja's name for a Christmas Present. I definitely think that the best present for some one, is the ability to make a difference.

GREAT choice guys, I was rooting for this one all along.

The Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of our world’s oceans, waves and beaches. Founded in 1984 by a handful of visionary surfers in Malibu, California, the Surfrider Foundation now maintains over 50,000 members and 80 chapters worldwide.

Not sure if it's going to be the entire foundation or specifically the West Hollywood and Malibu chapter. If anybody had any objection to the WEHO/Malibu chapter, PLEASE voice them... if not, I'm really thinking it should go there.






The way the contest will run & instructions

ALRIGHT. Pay CLOSE attention, it's a little confusing, but we decided to do it this way THAT way it's fair.

It will be a draw.

For ever $5 entered with your name *attached* you will be entered into the draw.

How do I get my name in the draw
- You can donate yourself. So if you were to put in $25 then your name would be entered 5 times.
- You can also GET people to donate if you a) have already entered or b) can't afford it. When they enter, they are to include your name so both YOURS and the person who donates name will be entered. (They will be entered for every $5 and your name will be entered once in this instance)

So there are a few opportunities.

How will the draw be conducted
- ONCE you have donated (if some one else is donated MAKE SURE they do this it's how your name will get entered), you are going to send an e-mail to the JAA e-mail with a quick form. That way it allows me to KEEP TRACK and make sure nothing gets lost and paypal doesn't mess us over.

- GREEDY, not telling. Haha, actually, no I'm waiting for a few more things to come in, then it will be announced once we go through everything. THERE WILL BE 3 PRIZES.

This was Jorja's response to the e-mail I sent asking about what group she'd like for us to donate to...

"So very kind of them. Please tell them they don't need to raise
money/send me holiday 'presents' very kind of them, very unnecessary.
And very kind. If they must: I really love the Surfrider Foundation, the Ocean
Conservancy, NRDC, Human Rights Watch, and PETA."





Dates, deadlines and where to donate

NOT many sites can do this and help like this. It's the first one I've done it with. Most sites can't do this but HERE we have a pretty cool bond and I'm SO proud to be able to run JAA and run these fundraisers because you know what, maybe one person can't make a big difference, but collectively we can and it's a big difference. Take pride in yourself when you donate. You can make a difference.

OUR GOAL
- I'd LOVE to see us make more than what we collected for BURMA.
