Welcome to ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) jmusic_uploads, a community for sharing the love that is JRock music! Once upon a time there was another place for this called jrock_uploads, but tragedy soon struck and the community was deleted. We seek to provide a haven for those left lost by that deletion, hence why this comm was born! So join us and stay awhile! |
| RULES |
• Please stay polite and on-topic! No flaming other members, bands or artists, or the mods. We’d like this place to be a pleasant one. In a similar vein, there is nothing like posting something completely off-topic to incite the members. Your post will be deleted if it does not pertain to Japanese music in any way!
• Utilize the LJ FAQ to learn how to include lj-cuts or images in your entry, to link to things, and to edit and tag your entries. ALL LARGE IMAGES SHOULD BE BEHIND A CUT! If it breaks f-lists, not cool. If you don’t fix it, it will be deleted.
• The community uses Tags for every entry. You will learn to love them. CHECK THE TAGS BEFORE YOU REQUEST, and TAG YOUR POSTS! Don't make me hurt you. ;p
• All entries must be friends-only to protect both the members and the community. The default is set to friends-only, so it will automatically post that way. Therefore if it is changed, we know it was done deliberately, and you will be asked to set it to friends-only or it will be deleted.
• Don't disable comments on your post. Period. It will be deleted whether there is a problem with it or not.
• Requests are absolutely allowed, but please be specific when you do so! Not only are the artist and song/release you're looking for, but specifications such as uploading sites and bitrates will help uploaders get you the music you want, the way you want! Also, please check the tags before you request; that is what they're there for!
• Please delete all music within the appropriate amount of time designated by the area/state/country you hail from! It might be 24 hours, it might be 48, but we don't want anyone getting in trouble. If you like something, buy it! It is always much more satisfying to have the actual copy of a release in your hands, and know you're supporting your favorite artists :)
•Please read this post and keep on lookout for updates in the comm about Japanfiles.com, a site which will report users for ToS violations if their artists are uploaded.
• Please limit community/rotation advertisements to one per week! Though it is good information to know where to get stuff, it can get annoying for the un-interested members. Regarding tagging for advertisement entries, please DO NOT TAG THEM if your community is friends-only! Unless you include the actual download link in the post. Otherwise, if we can click on the link to the entry and download from there, you are free to tag. If we have to join, don't tag. Easy, right? |

Hi! I'm Aki and I like piña coladas and getting caught in the r-oh wrong community. I'm not as friendly as I seem, but even friendlier once you get to know me (lovely contradiction). Elitist indies whore, though I dip a toe into more mainstream artists every now and again, with a super-wary eye as to my proximity to the fangirls. I'm another tag demon that'll whine very loudly on her uploads if you don't utilize the tag function. It's there for a reason. I'm loud (on the Internet) and I take very little, if anything, in fandom seriously. I'm easy-going and see very little reason for inter-fan conflict or "Big Name Fan" powertrips. I also like small tags.
