Saturday, March 31, 20076:00PM - Drama at the Door!I went to Jilly's on Friday with four friends from Preston. I was dressed in my usual black attire, lol. My friends were dressed in, 'indie,' attire. Sorry to pigeon hole but it's the easiest way to get the point across. Member of door staff says to me, "Why have you brought Townies here?" What, shock horror! I said, "There not Townies." Which was followed by, "There's a dress code." And my last words were, "But there's the main room." At that point one of my friends decided to take offence at being called a Townie which was quite understandable to be honest. Suffice to say my friends had to go somewhere else. I still went in because I had planned to meet someone but felt like going elsewhere following my friends being called Townies. I was hit by a wall of heat when I went in like going to the swimming baths. I'm sure it never use to be that hot. I don't know whether it's just that more people are going or what little air conditioning there was has gone. And some Chav's were in which unfortunately isn't the first time. What's all that about? It baffles me that they want to get in, in the first place. I can only put it down to them either not getting into dance clubs because they are to young, they want to 'gorp' at everyone or they fancy giving someone a beating. I just don't understand why the door staff let them in. I think it's enough to have to put up with chav wildlife on our streets without having them in our clubs as well. Anyway, apart from that it was a good night with lot's of extreme glow-stick action. Hope you are all way, lol.
