AboutThis list is for the intersection between the worlds of Judaism and Magic/Witchcraft. We're all in the minority as Jews and we're all in the minority as mages/witches, so clearly as Jewish practicioners of the esoteric arts we are far more obscure than people in either of these categories alone. When we say we are Jews, we mean to include anyone who is religiously (at any degree of observance), culturally, nationally, or in any other way connected to the Jewish people (but not necessarily all of the above). When we say we are Magi, we mean to include those involved or interested in any form of magic(k) including kabbalah, ceremonial magic, witchcraft, psionics, alchemy, hermeticism, shamanism, divination, astrology, etc. as well as those who believe in or practice witchcraft or Wicca as his or personal religion.
No particular level of experience in either Judaism or magic is required to participate in this community. All that we ask is you treat each other with respect and try to refrain from going too far off topic (e.g. asking for someone to recommend a good taxidermist may be innapropriate, although I guess I can see some instances where it would be on-topic). Although debate is encouraged, no criticism of anyone's religious or spiritual beliefs will be tolerated.
