AboutOh, hey, 'sup, fellow freedom fighters! You're currently checking out the userinfo page of the Jet/Zuko community, a place where you, too, can celebrate the incredible hilarity of Jet's obsession with Zuko.
(For those not in the know, Jet and Zuko are characters from the popular (and fabulous) Nickelodeon cartoon, Avatar: the Last Airbender. One wonders why you're here, though, and why you haven't watched it yet. Ahem!)

Obviously we've got some rules and guidelines you'll want to read before you start posting, so check 'em out and get going!
- 1) Stay on-topic.
- Do post about Jet, Zuko, and Jet/Zuko.
- Don't post about other characters or pairings, unless Jet or Zuko feature prominently in the discussion.
- Fanworks must focus on Jet and/or Zuko, or at least have one or both in prominent roles. Please keep in mind that Zuko/Not!Jet does not belong here (but Jet/Not!Jet/Zuko would be totally fine); the same applies to Jet/Not!Zuko. An exception would be allowed if the Zuko-or-Jet/Not!Jet-or-Zuko fic features the other boy in a significant role. (If you have any questions on this - and I know I'm not perfectly clear on it - please feel free to contact me.)
- 2) No hatin', please.
- Treat other members (and anyone else who comes wandering in) with respect. If someone does disagree with you in a less than tactful manner, try not to respond in a like manner. Remember: be cool.
- Please refrain from bashing Jet, Zuko, and/or Jet/Zuko. This is a Jet/Zuko community. Try to keep that in mind before you join.
- On that note, try not to go on tirades about other characters or pairings. Why are you ranting about Aang/Momo when you could be writing Jet/Zuko hatesex? Consider!
- 3) Please, for the love of God, lj-cut. This is a public community, not your personal journal.
- Any posts of length, be they discussion, recap, or fanwork-related.
- Fanfic exceeding 100 words.
- Fanart. A small thumbnail outside an lj-cut will be allowed.
- Icons. You may have three icons outside an lj-cut to provide a sampler.
- Screencaps. Small thumbnails will be allowed, but please do not exceed more than three outside an lj-cut.
A good rule of thumb: anything over 500 words most likely should be lj-cut.
If you don't know how to make an lj-cut, this should help. :)
The following should be lj-cut at all times:
- 4) When posting fanworks, observe the following:
- Subject Line: Note the type of fanwork (fic / art / etc.) and the title (if it has one).
- Post: Note your name and the title (again, if it has one).
- Warn for spoilers and questionable content. If it isn't safe for work, make a note of it where it can be easily seen.
- If you're posting an AMV, please note the name of the song as well as the individual or group performing the song.
All of the above information should be noted outside any lj-cuts.
- 5) Post!
- Fanworks!
- Discussion!
- Videos!
- Contests!
