What? A Jericho ARG?!
Yes, that's right! A Jericho alternate reality game! Betcha didn't see that one coming! Or at least, I sure didn't!

A few days (maybe a week?) ago, some people in the fandom received an email which linked them to the ARG. Apparently, it's been around for awhile or something, but right now, the morse code involved is being updated regularly with new clues.

It pretty much set the CBS message boards on fire with speculation and excitement (does this mean they're actually promoting our show?!).

So, if anyone wants to play along, the main site is www.jenningsandrall.com. It's also being followed closely and discussed on these threads on the CBS message boards: jenningsandrall and Black Hills Radio Broadcasts.

Associated sites are www.sacredhatcasino.com, www.blackhillsradiocontrol.com, and I think there might be a fourth as well so if you want to play along, check out those sites and get involved! :)

Also, the production blog was updated with photos of the cast walking the picket lines with the writers...you can check them out at www.jerichorises.com.

Just wanted to add:

This is the fourth site: www.ajkin.com (In the box, type the codeword "red cloud" (with a space in between the words and no quotes). Then, click the Mayan symbol that changes when you roll over it.

People are still working on finding out the name and password required to login to the "Ravenwood Solutions" screen on the J&R site.


AND...

From what I hear from my sources, YOU AIN'T SEEN NOTHIN' YET in terms of the ARG.

So...

I think that bodes well for Jericho's future! :D

Thanks for posting this; I'd wanted to write something about the ARG, but hadn't had time.

i wish the show would come back already...im totally gonna forget what happened...and people are going to move on...enough csi and stuff...bring back jericho!

I think CBS has had a plan all along and that plan wasn't to throw Jericho into the first time slot that opened up. Yes, it's a pain to have to wait, but I do think it's in Jericho's best interest. Everyone knew this strike was coming - it makes sense for CBS to have held Jericho in case it lasted...because come January, if most other networks don't have much new content except for reality and game shows, CBS has a trump card that others don't: new, original, scripted programming with a rabid fan base. On the same token, most shows will probably end up having a shortened season...so compared to most shows' 10-16 episodes that cut off halfway through, Jericho's 7, which tell a COMPLETE story, don't look too shabby anymore. And bringing the show back mid-October or even now would mean pre-empting for the holidays and people being busy with other things.

It's a long wait, but I think holding off on the new eps until the new year was a good move by CBS and one they had been planning all along. Hang in there - it's not that much longer, hopefully. And as long as they don't pin us opposite AI again, Jericho's chances for survival are looking really good right now. And if you think you're going to forget what happened, get the Season One DVDs!!!! LOL. :D
