The Good Soldier
The Good Soldier is set just before World War I and chronicles the tragedies of the lives of two seemingly perfect couples.
The narrator of the story is John Dowell, he tells of the unfortunate events, how he and his wife, Florence, have met another perfect couple, Captain Edward Ashburnham(played by Jeremy Brett) and his wife Leonora.
