JB in 'Number 10'
Something for you to enjoy on JB's seventy-third anniversary.
Here are screencaps from the episode 'Bloodlines' from the series 'Number 10' in which he appeared in 1983. The series was about the Prime Ministers who have lived in 10 Downing Street.
JB played William Pitt the Younger who was PM at the latter end of the 18th century; he falls in love with a young girl but refuses to marry her. Pitt's father who suffered from 'mad interludes' warns him of a family curse of madness and evokes a promise on his deathbed that his son will never have children. Pitt the Younger does indeed inherit his father's 'interludes' (which he controls with generous amounts of alcohol) and casts the girl aside to 'spare her'.
It is a very sad ending, but a wonderful performance by JB - surprise surprise ^_^

	Isn't '83 around the time when he slimmed 'way down for Holmes? I believe I read that he went on a strict diet and only weighed 168 lbs. when the first series began. (Reply to this) (Parent)(Thread)

	my problem is that it seems to me that in spain I am the unique one fan of J.B and it is very difficult to find films or series me that known has done… some English page where me can unload this series? it interests much to me….so that it leaves so different from as it leaves in sherlock holmes.
