The Baron "Seven Eyes of Night" Screen Caps
Hi everyone,

This is my first post here. I've been a fan of Jeremy Brett for 15 years so I was happy to find this community.

As a contribution I want to share some screen pics of The Baron with JB. I'm not used to making multi-picture posts like this so I'm sorry if it doesn't turn out right. Also sorry if these pics are redundant...

I tried to edit most of them to look better but unfortunately the video itself wasn't the greatest quality.

I've never seen stills from this one and I have no idea what the plot is, but he does look very young and dashing as usual. And evil! Again? I wonder what percentage of his roles were villains, compared to heroes.

I also had no idea you could get this one. Did you find it on eBay?

I didn't get it from ebay, I got it from a collector/trader who had thousands of tv titles on a web site. I don't have the site address anymore, it was a year or two ago, but he said (on the site) that he and his wife were adopting a child and he wouldn't be trading anymore (maybe someone recognizes this?). It was around $30-40 which I thought was relatively ok because you had to pay and arm and a leg for JB stuff on ebay.

Anyway, he put it to dvd for me. Contact me if you want a copy. I made an avi of it, so I could put that up for download instead, if my host allows files that big (approx 700mb).

That collector/trader sort of reminds me of World Wide Videos, which [info]gloria_scott posted a while back. They track videos down for people. It sounds very tempting but I know I don’t have the funds to ask them to look for something for me.

Oh, it would be wonderful if you could share the avi with us! That could be simpler, I think, than shipping to several people. If your host doesn’t allow files that large, here are some sites that could help:

http://sendspace.com/ (File size limit: 300mb)
http://megaupload.com/ (File size limit: 250mb)
http://rapidshare.de (File size limit: 100mb per file)

Since you probably don’t want to pay $4.99, you could split the file with http://www.freebyte.com/hjsplit/#win32
[info]poison_apple37 used that for the interviews she shared. Just open the “hjsplit.zip” and copy out the “hjsplit.exe”. Once people download it they can just join it again and they have the whole file intact. If you need any more help just ask and I’ll do my best.

I'd forgotten about that site.

The site I got Seven Eyes from was a personal site, not business, and the guy didn't seem that interested in selling, mainly trading.

Thank you for the links. I'm going to try it out on my web space and see how that goes first. :)

Hi, and Welcome... LUV these! I didn't realise there was a copy floating about to even show on television, so muchas gracias! (but, Mr Brett -- those eyebrows....a bit -- "Vulcan-ish", are they not? But all your other 'cuteness' cancels it out though, so not to worry!)
