Screen Caps: The Protectors
Before I leave you for the weekend, here are some screen caps of JB as Kahan in The Protectors. I think he's supposed to be Indian. Or something.

Same rules: Don't hotlink; Do save and use as you wish. 20+ large images each post - Dial-up beware!

As far as the performance goes, he kind of phoned it in. But if you're a fan of the rolling R's it's not to be missed.

Part 1

Part 2

Hmm..maybe it's just me but in some of those pictures, the right side of his mustache looks longer..or something.

Oh hey, Robert Vaughn!

Hmm..possibly.

I just think the makeup they put on him kind of just makes his face look dirty.

Thanks oodles, gloria_scott!

Ooh, dashing! ;)
His eyes look so slanty and exotic in some of those shots! Sometimes it looks like he has eye-makeup, and I was convinced he did until the last few really close shots where I don't really see any . . . (scratches head)

Why do they always put the villain (I read that he's a villain in this one) in the facial hair? I like guys with mustaches and beards; it proves they're men! This one isn't exactly the BEST mustache in the history of mustaches, but he looks great in his Maxim De Winter-mustache (I REALLY want to see him in that, if only for the mustache ;) ). Am I the only one who prefers facial hair?

On this page there are a lot of good mustache pictures: http://www.geocities.com/~smidden/picsfilmtv.htm
My favorite is the one of Brett as De Winter smiling at the camera in front of the castle (mmm, castle . . . AND mustache? I feel spoiled).

Kind of looks like he's got dark smudgy stuff round the lower lid - not quite eyeliner (which I would die for).

He's done the 'stache quite a bit - in both bad guy and good guy roles (but I agree, here it's quite the cliche). I'm afraid I prefer the smooth-faced JB, though I agree he does wear it well in Rebecca.

I was kind of digging the Nehru. I could do without the Miss Cleo crystal pendant, though.

Not even the genius of JB can stand up to the less-than satifactory make-up job on this, but, cor, those last few pix.......luv those lashes!

Wow! He is so..... NOT INDIAN. :-D

HOW could people have been so cruel to his beautiful coloring as to repeatedly costume him in BEIGE?? No, no, no, no, no!

Actually I found it on Netflix, so the DVDs are probably available on Amazon and other sites.
