Hello all!

I've been a big fan of Jekyll since I first saw it back in the summer of '07, and I've been avidly watching this lj_comm ever since. All of you rock! Everything I've seen here has been great, whether it's a fanvid, a piece of fanfic, or some art. You all are really talented people, and it's great to know there's such an awesome fan community for this wonderful show.

I've been hesitant to post here, however, since so far I haven't had anything to add
to the mix. Now, however, after many weeks of plundering my workplace, I've finally
got something to share! It's a fan mix...heh. But it's a little twisted.

Remember when Tom found Hyde's Disney cd? Well, that gave me an idea. What WOULD Hyde pick as his Disney favourites, if he had the chance?

So, I present to all of you...Hyde's Disney Mix. These are either songs I felt he
might relate to, songs he would just enjoy listening to, or might use as a way to
think about other characters---all of which is incredibly fangirlish of me. Or maybe
this is just an excuse to give you all Disney music, heh heh heh. :)

Otherwise, I think you can hear echoes of Hyde and Tom in these songs...some of them,
anyway, and only if you squint a lot at parts. But I think if you look at Hyde as, at his heart, a child...then these songs kind of work.

So, I may have completely gone off the deep end here, but anyway...enjoy! xD

Hello,
I'm from Canada and just recently got into Jekyll when my dad rented it from our local video store.
I now own the series and am slightly addicted to the beautiful James Nesbitt, but then again, is there anyone here who isn't? XD

I was pleasantly surprised to find that this show has such a brilliant treasure trove of really high class fanart / fanfic / fanvideos! You guys got me inspired to share the Jekyll (or more specifically Hyde) doodling binge I've been on for the past couple weeks.

[01-72] Jekyll, episode one

Jekyll alumni rumored to be possible Doctor Who candidate... and it's not James Nesbitt this time. Though the rumor has already been denied by the stars agent, Paterson Joseph (Benjamin to us Jekyll fans) could be the next in line if Moffat gets his way. (source BBC America Anglophenia)

And this is not Jekyll related but I simply must pass this on just in case you haven't heard. James has a new indy movie, Blessed, being screened in London on October 24th which needs serious pimping. And if it does well, there may be a chance for a Question and Answer Session with Jimmy!!! There is a larger original manip which is sharper and not so "artsy". This one was inspired by episode four when Tom wakes up toppled over a chair with the flat trashed. So yes, there is a precedence though loosely executed here. I'll stop trying to justify my playtime now. Want, take, have, share, abuse, edit... truth is, I don't care. Just enjoy.

More prompt begging.

Porn Battle 5 is open for prompts and once again, it's probably unlikely we'll get Jekyll prompts from the people at IJ. Pros: you'll get your fic in the next couple of days. More pros: it's going to be porn! I can't think of any cons.

I'm not quite sure how the rules on this go, but let's give it a try.

On Insanejounal.com there's a lovely community called Kinkfest. There are rounds, and in each round prompts are submitted and later displayed so people can sign up for those prompts. It's very fun.

And since a round is opening up just now, I'm hoping some of you imaginative people can supply me with prompts for Jekyll, either m/f or f/f. Because no one on IJ will, and I will certainly write them. (Admittedly your kinks may not match up to mine, but I'm open minded. It's unlikely.)

In case you need help with kinks, here's a LIST, more kink-themes based than actual -philia stuff.

If this isn't allowed, just tell me. And guys--I successfully wrote and posted 46 stories to kinkfest last round. Go wild.
