Rules of the Jedi Council:

1) Treat the members of the Jedi Order with respect at all times. We are as a family in the Order. Some disagreement is natural but remember we are Jedi at all times and act accordingly.

2) New members of the Order will start as padawan learners. No exceptions made. After trials they will become Jedi knights. Jedi Masters will be chosen as needed by the other Jedi Masters and/or the Founding Members of the Council. (see membership below)

3) This community will remain on topic. Irrelevant posts about heinous teachers, homework issues, evil parents, or other non-galactic related posts can and should be made in your personal journals. While I'm sure many in the community would enjoy to know about your everyday life it does not belong here.

4) This council is a fun place for the Jedi Order to gather. Feel free to socialize with your fellow Jedis. We encourage you to add eachother on your personal journals as well. We are, after all, a family.

5) Once a member of the Jedi Council your name will be placed in our archives. The archives are updated as much as possible but remember, we are Jedis and as such are often on missions far away from the temples. Updates aren't always possible immediately. They will be done in a timely manner.

6) Feedback is always welcome! If you know how the council could be improved contact luminara_unduli or siv_meeyoo with your suggestions. This community belongs to all of us so lets make it the best possible!

7) Your Jedi name may be chosen by you but your rank will depend upon time in the Order, passing the trials, service to the Order, and positions available. All will start as padawans and upon completion of the trials will advance to Jedi Knights. The highest position, Jedi Master, is the hardest to attain.

8) Anonymous posting has been disabled. If you plan on joining to make rude comments about the Council or any members don't bother. We will not be involved in flame wars. you will simply be banned and your comments deleted.

9) New members please leave a message either to a post made in jediscouncil by me, luminara_unduli, or my padawan, siv_meeyoo or in the personal journal of luminara_unduli and tell me your Jedi name so that I may add you to our Archives.

10) This is a Jedi Council. Having said so, if you want to play house feel free to do so in your personal journal. We don't care if you do so in your RP journal. But this is a pure Council. We abide by the mandates of the Code. This is NOT a Jedi Dating Service. Don't ask if you can marry so-and-so or have so-and-so as a lifemate. And don't play the I'm pregnant game if you want to stay in the Council. We treat all Jedi the same. If you break the Code you are expelled from the Order. Yes, we play cannon on alot of things.
