Honestly I'm a little bit embarrassed to be posting so much here in such a short amount of time, but I'm trying to get started on a bunch of translation projects and things while I have some free time during spring break right now. I'm really sorry if it seems like I'm spamming you all!

Anyway, I'd just like to introduce meikuman, where I've started translating the new jealkb blog. If you've got some free time, please check out meikuman (including the userinfo), and feel free to add it to your friend list if you'd like to read the English translations! There are some nice big pictures! So far they're just writing entries that basically say, "Look! It's our new blog! We want more fans so we've put it in a place where anyone can see it! Yoroshiku!" But yeah, check it out!

Next, also by request, I've just translated jealkb's second major single, "Fly." This was used as the campaign song for the StarFlyer airline, and so it had to be somewhat upbeat in tone. haderu-sama said that as a visual-kei artist, it was really hard to write optomistic lyrics! (This is despite his having previously written the very cheerful song, "Opti," but he said that he didn't really find the mood he wanted to use for jealkb songs until he wrote "Aizai," a b-side for Chikai.) The PV for this song was played for a while on StarFlyer flights, and you can see the distinctive black airplanes from the airline in the PV as well.

As usual, I've tried to write this translation so that you can sing along with the music, and lately I'm experimenting more with rhyme and stuff as well. It's still pretty close to the original meaning, though!

Hello again!

This time I've translated "Nageki no Endless" by request. This song is sub-member sakura-sama's favorite! The English hints in the promotional video led to a Marui department store in Tokyo, where for a limited time you could get jealkb goods.

I'm sorry to say this isn't my best translation; for some reason this song was more difficult than others to make the English fit the melody.

I'm new to the community, but have been a die-hard jealkb fan since their major debut.
