This also officially marks the end of je_holiday v. 2.0. We couldn't be happier with the outcome, and would like to thank you all for being willing victims participants. We hope you all had as much writing and reading (so much reading!) as we did putting this together. Modding je_holiday has its stressful moments, but the happy comments posted as people receive their fics is more than enough of a reward. Feel free to express your feelings about this year's rendition in the comments. If there's something you'd like to say to us privately, email us at jeholiday@gmail.com. We'll take all of your comments into consideration for next year's exchange.

From jackoweskla to swtjemz: Thank you for posting fics for me on the days when I was sick/drowning in final papers/without decent internet, which sadly seemed to be most of my posting days this year. It's wonderful to work with someone as diligent as you. And all of the emails you send, augh, just the thought of sending all of the assignment emails makes me dizzy. I couldn't imagine running this exchange with anyone else. You're a star, Shige-chan. <3

From swtjemz to jackoweskla: Thank you for letting me mod this exchange with you! You picked up where I slacked off got super busy couldn't find time was asleep got swamped had trouble finding the time to devote myself to this. It's been a blast working with someone who's super anal OCD organized and of the same mindset and enthusiasm. I'm really excited for next year's event. Y/Y? <3 ya, Koyamamamamamamama!

It's Boxing Day and, once again, the 12 Days of JE Fic is officially over.

Beth and I thank each and every author who participated in this holiday fest. We were astounded by the number of people who signed up and it touched our hearts that everyone really looked forward to this. It is worth the hard work we put in to see everyone so happy with the fics je_holiday hosted. The happiness and flail we see and personally listen to brightens up our holidays and we sincerely hope that these fics made your holiday extra special.

This year's je_holiday had 106 fics with a total of 449,608 words. That's an average of 4,242 words per fic. Thank you to everyone who wrote a pinch hit for the fest. Beth and I thank you for volunteering to write & helping us ensure that each participant gets a fic. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Sadly, that also meant that santa_johnny has a naughty list and he's making them all trainees. If you are on this list, we will not invite you back for next year's exchange.

On a happier note, Reveals will be posted up on January 1, 2009 Once revealed, all authors are welcome to repost their fic elsewhere. Also, authors are free to respond to comments anonymously if they choose. :D
