{1} Happy, happy birthday to a dear friend from back when, sassypinkdiva .  I hope life has been absolutely wonderful to you today, Jenny, 'cause you know you deserve a day full of fun and laughter! 

{2} Exhaustion?  Not fun.  Yeah, just in case ya'll were wonderin'.  I SO am ready to crash, but I wanna watch some TV first, and finish cleaning my room, now I'm done stalking Facebook, which, for the record, I  am starting to like much better than MySpace.  I never really dug MySpace but I keep mine for general purposes. 

{3} Trevor and I are on the road to recovery.  I had lunch with him today, and we spoke a bit, but we are seeing one another on Saturday, and we'll take it from there. 

{4} MY VACATION BEGINS AS OF 4PM TOMORROW.  How psyched am I?  How much can I not wait for this?  9 days off, bb's, 9 days.  It's gonna be glorious.  I'm going to write, and swim, and sleep, and watch TV and cuddle with my boyfriend, and it'll generally be a relaxing, awesome sort of week.

[RANT]When people write "could of," "would of," "should of" and so on. I know it's very Coxian of me to get so worked up about something so small but every time I see someone write such illiterate shit, I want to reach through the computer and choke them until they learn to write it properly.

The sad thing is, I see this idiotic mistake from people I know, respect and think of as educated. Then they go and write things like "I must of passed right by him" and I have to physically restrain myself from asking if they took elementary school English. I can understand how non-native speakers might screw up the spelling but honestly...anyone who speaks English as a first language - from ANY country, since this seems to be a problem in North America, Ireland, UK, Australia and god knows where else - has absolutely no excuse to sound so fucking stupid.

This is right at the top of my list of pet peeves, along with "supposebly" and "nucular." If this happens to refer to anyone on my flist, please know that I love you regardless and am not directing it towards any one person (I don't even remember WHO I've seen using these madeup phrases, I just know that plenty of people do). So no offense, but do take it to heart. Stop raping the written language. It's "could've," "would've," "should've" and "must've." You don't write "does int" for "does not," do you? Children have already learned this, surely adults can grasp the concept as well.[/RANT]

So, last year I started this comm called soda_and_pie for just general shooting the breeze, but it flopped a bit. And then earlier this week I had the idea 1)rewatching Supernatural's season 4 and 2)making it a group thing.

So I'm using soda_and_pie for just that purpose. There will be a posting schedule and plans for the rewatch party later today.

my alarm clock went off this morning in the middle of a dream about a funny, charming, intelligent guy who chatted me up in a bookstore, asked for my number and then made out with me for a while. oh, b.urie, i love your stupid face and your stupid voice and your stupid guitar and your stupid bob marley cover, but that was a really good dream. >:(

in other news, i've transported myself back to the eighties and am wearing blue eyeshadow and shiny pink lipgloss today, and it looks hot. yeah, i'd make out with me.
