Notes: This is a writing challenge I see everywhere. I've had this sitting on my desktop for quite a few months. I wrote them at the beginning of the summer and promptly forgot about them. Also? Most of these are over 100 words but I won't tell if you don't. Also, also? I cheated and only did 8 instead of 10.
Notes: Title is from Blackout by Muse. Quotes are from Cry to Heaven by Anne Rice. A fantastic book which I highly recommend.

Challenge: Pick up a book, one with more than 100 pages, and take the first sentence off of each page; 10, 20, 30, etc. Repeat until you have 10 quotes then take those quotes and write drabbles based on them. You don't have to use the whole quote. You can use a word or a section.


By this time in his life Perry Cox has pretty much accepted who he is.
