Note: Written for the Support Stacy auction, the winning group asked for a story that dealt with Alice and Leah following C&I. I hope it fills at least some of your hopes. At the end, there is a brief glossary of some native acronyms and ideas. The terms aren't necessary to follow the story and it wasn't always appropriate to define them in-text -- but I also don't assume all readers instantly recognize what "BIA" refers to.
Special Note on Canon: The original novella was written and posted before Breaking Dawn was published, and I assumed BD would render C&I obsolete. The conflicts, however, turned out to be more implicit than explicit. So despite the fact BD was a plotted mess -- for simplicity-sake -- I've allowed it to stand as background, although what happened there doesn't matter to this story except tangentially.
