Hi everyone!
I am SOOOO excited! After three years of waiting, I finally now have a brand new SOLO ART BOOK! It is called "Jasmine Becket-Griffith: Portfolio Volume I", and it is stunning. I have been bursting at the seams to tell all of you, but had to wait a long time until everything was completed. I have my own artist copy from the publishers, and it is gorgeous. And guess what - it is available NOW for pre-order on my website! I strongly, strongly, strongly suggest that if you are interested in purchasing this book, that you do pre-order it as soon as possible. That way you will be guaranteed to have your copy reserved, and you won't be one of the unfortunate last-minute customers who have to wait half a year or more on the second back-order (like last time, eek!). Pre-ordering means that you will have your copy shipped in late March - not long from now at all!

A glossy portfolio-style picture book, this is a very personal book to me - basically I have selected over sixty of the paintings that mean a lot to me, and I think are my best (as the artist). All are reproduced beautifully and in full colour. It is 64 full colour pages, a perfect book for fans of my art, or fans of the gothic/fantasy/fairy art genre in general. It is basically a gallery-style book consisting nearly solely of large, stunning images. Almost like buying over 60 fine art prints, all together in one book!
And also a reminder that I will be at MegaCon - March 7th- 9th in Orlando so please come out and visit with me if you can - I'll have TONS of great art & stuff, and will be doing LIVE painting "in person". Come see me at the Sarasota Medieval Fair this weekend!
I am there for this weekend ONLY - November 11th & 12th from 10:00 am through 5:00 pm. I will be in the "Celebrity/VIP" tent and will have hundreds of prints, all kinds of merchandise, statues, original paintings, books, and more. I will be signing autographs.

For Jasmines stuff there, is everything listed on the site, or is there more that I'll find in the store once I get there?
If there's mroe I wanna make sure I have more on hand incase I find something else I wanna buy.

SWEET... Flipping channels and saw one of Jasmine's fairy on a new Tatoo. Miami Ink http://tlc.discovery.com/fansites/miami-ink/miami-ink.html I can't watch them do it... so no details from me.
I just have to say.. CONGRATS JASMINE!!!! :)
UPDATE... The artist RUINED it. He didn't do a perfect replica of it and it just isn't as good. It does look good, but not as good as Jasmine's original art.

There are a lot of new changes:
*The biggest news being, now there is FREE SHIPPING on all orders! Seriously, FREE SHIPPING anywhere in the world. Live in Timbuktu and you want to order 2,100 Canvas Prints? No problem - shipping is FREE!! The only exception is my Lt. Ed. Statue & my "Fairy" book, because they automatically have shipping included, but other than that everything else qualifies for 100% free shipping. How cool is that? I'm not sure how long I will run this promotion, so go buy stuff while you can, hehe. Please note that this is for orders placed through www.strangeling.com directly (ie, eBay doesn't count!).

Fairy decal sighting.... while driving North on I-77 in North Carolina (i think). We saw one of Jasmine's fairy decals on a dark green van with lugage rack on top. :) I wonder if that person is on this list. My husband didn't tell me about it till we had already passed them. So I didn't get to wave. (we had the white van with the big Totoro cat face decal on front hood)

Here's a rundown of new stuff for those too lazy to look for them, hehe:
**Most importantly, I now have my Captive Fairy Lt. Ed. Statues for sale! These are in a limited edition of only 2,000. Only 2,000 will EVER be made. I only have a small amount of them available, so if you are wanting to buy one from me, do it now! Seriously, some clever people started ordering them before I even told anybody I was updating my website, lol, and they are going FAST. Please note - I wasn't aware how securely and individually packed these are! They are all in a special sealed box, so there isn't a way for me to open them up to sign them or to see which number out of 2,000 they are - sorry folks. Just be happy that they come snugly and well-packed, lol. ;p

There are about 20 new prints throughout. All of my most recent paintings! They are also ALL available in the Limited Edition Hand-Embellished Canvas prints, right on the website (the print options are in the upper right hand corner of each print's own page).
**CONTEST! Yep, a contest! I know that lots of my fans are folks without a lot of spending money, or people who are still in school, or people who like free stuff. So once a month I'm going to pick a random entry and I will send them the 8"x10" print of their choice. You can enter once a month, and I will draw a new name every month. You can enter here:

IF you are planning on getting your hands on a copy of my book, I STRONGLY suggest pre-ordering asap. I need to know how many to order (you see, I actually have to physically order & buy the books myself, get them here to sign them, package and send them, keeping them in my house the whole time, lol) for my stock. If you do not pre-order, I can't guarantee that you would be able to buy one right away (I don't know how long it will be between my stock shipments, and I don't know what stores will be carrying it, and it will be a couple of months before Amazon, Barnes & Noble etc. have it on their websites). So if you are wanting one as soon as it comes out (or any time soon, hehe) I really really really suggest pre-ordering. Really. And hey - if you pre-order before August 16th, you get a free "Starry Night Fairy" vinyl sticker (since she's the famous front cover painting, lol!). So go pre-order, already!

I have my copy of the book, and it is amazing. It is so cool, I can't believe it. >^__^< I am so incredibly happy right now. Both the hard-cover and paperback editions are great, but of course hard-cover is better, hehe. It'll hold up to more rough-housing and years of reading. Both are great though, it's truly an excellent book.
