New challenges will run weekly unless otherwise stated and occasionally theme challenges will take place. Feel free to join to participate and/or vote, but don't forget to stop by the rules.

• Deadline for submitting entries is Thursdays @ 11 p.m. PDT.
• Voting will take place on Friday and Saturday.
• A new challenge will be put up on Friday.
• Winners will be announced on Sunday.

• You may only use the images provided in each week's challenges for your icon(s), unless otherwise stated.
• Your icons must meet LiveJournal standards (max. 40 kb, 100x100 px and in .JPG, .GIF or .PNG format).
• You must make new icons for the challenges.
• You may not post your submitted icon(s) anywhere else on the web until the challenge is over.
• Your icons may not in any way be offensive to a particular subject.
• You may not blend between the images provided or animate. All other effects, including brushes, gradients and text are allowed.
• Do not take any icons without permission from the artists. |

• You must be a member of the community to submit icons.
• Submit your icons in a comment to the challenge post (comments will be screened).
• Submit your icons in the following format:

• Any submissions that do not meet the above criteria may be disqualified. |

• Please vote in the specified "voting" post.
• All votes are screened.
• You may only vote once.
• Anonymous votes will not count. Same goes for votes from users whose journals don't look to be in use.
• Don't ask others to vote for your icon and no voting for yourself. Keep it fair.
• Vote for the number of icons specified in the "voting" post. More or less than that and your votes will be disqualified.
• Voting is weighted: a 1st place vote is worth 3 points, a 2nd place worth 2 points and a 3rd place equals 1 point.
• There will be 3 winners for each challenge (1st, 2nd, 3rd places) plus a mod's choice, unless otherwise stated.
• Banners are included in the winners's announcement, unless otherwise stated.
