AboutStudying Japanese can be a very difficult sometimes, but what makes learning Japanese so fun, is that it gives you the ability to actually understand Japan and how Japanese people really think ( I wonder if that is good or bad?). Of course we were all taught that we must alwasy speak in Masu/Desu form to elders and new people we just met, but I am sure that you have often found yourself in situations where the people you were surronded by were speaking very casual everyday Japanese (Nichijyou Kaiwa）. With anyting , situation always dictates when and where can use slang. I encourage you to keep studying advanced vocabulary, so that when you are in situations where you must be polite, you will have the ability to sound educated, but I also want to create a community so we can all learn from each other and make our Japanese sound more natural!!
