About Us
This is a community where we combine japan, jpop, jrock, and anime. Anyone can join no matter what your skills so don't be afraid to do so.

Joining does not mean entering. You can just vote. We can't have the contests without voters! So don't be pressured to enter. There will be awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. Awards will also be awarded for Mods Choice, and a random Special Category -

a.best text
b.best arrangement of text
c.best coloring
d.best emotion
e.most creative
f.best interpation of theme
and best icon arrangement(how the icon is set up)

Each contest will consist of different things such as lyrical,image only,base only,jpop only,jrock only,anime only(includes rpg games),japanese objects/people only,anything goes,voters choice or random theme

Rules

1. Must be a member of this community to vote, or to enter. So join O.K? :-)

2. Your icons have to be connected to the theme in some way. If the contest is Jpop only, don't submit something with anime. Also no fanart and doujinshi only because other people drew those pictures and may not want you using them.

3.Icons must be be new. And cannot be used for other contests or past contests.

4. Please don't show your icon anywhere else, not for your user pic or anything. If so it will be disqualified.

5. Don't Cheat!!! Don't vote for yourself(if you think your icon is the best give me three reasons why it is in your vote, and I will consider it. If I dont think they are good reasons I will ask you to vote again) Also don't get others to vote for you, if you do it could result in your icon being eliminated from the contest(even if you win), or worse, banned.

6.Ask others if you want to use their icons, don't take them with out asking. If anyone tell me you did I will kick you out the community.

7.Always respect people and thier icons!

Submitting
Contests will be posted every Monday, and will have one week to make your icons(shorter if it is a special contest)The rules will be posted with each challenge posted, just to remind you of the rules. You may submit up to three icons, unless otherwised stated.

Voting

Voting will take place every Saturday at 9:00am to Sunday 11:59pm

Voting will be for your favorite three icons plus the Special Category and Mod's choice )(I will be doing the picking!:-)) Each vote must be different even for the special category.

I thought points would be easiest so
1st = 3points
2nd = 2points
3rd = 1points
Sc = will be counted
any ties will be posted
