Been busy living life.
Here's one's I've made progress on. Bold = progress. Strikethrough = done. Grey - hehe what?
- Lose 100 lbs. That's 2 lbs a week for 52 weeks. I didn't make the 100lbs, but lost 40 lbs so far and 2 pants sizes. Keeping it going down and working on replacing all those baggy clothes.
- Get a gym membership.
- Work out consistently at home or at a gym, ideally 5x a week.
- Pay off my car, bought in 2003.
- Pay off all my credit card debt. - credit consolidation should be a big relief.
Find a part time job or secondary income to help pay off debts faster.lol i had one and now looking for a new 2nd job. schedule probs. but i liked waitresssing.Ask for a raise at my current job - other than bonuses I have not had a significant pay increase since starting and revamping the whole newspaper two years ago, despite taking on new responsibilities.working on it and now waiting to hear wtf is going on.- Make my bed every day. lol.
Have a book on my nightstand and try to read every day.easy and done. library cards are great.- Replace my 21" curved tube tv. (well i'm not using the same one anymore)
- Replace my secondhand couch. (Does selling it count?)
- Purchase a second monitor for my laptop.
- Purchase a backlit keyboard.
- Purchase a desktop computer to retire the laptop.
Get the crack in my windshield replaced.Thanks to the tax relief checky thing.Hang the mirror in my living room on one of the brick walls.I moved back home and this goal is obsolete. It never was hung.- Create a public blog about advertising, marketing and media. Things I hate and things I love. I have just blogged here more, including things about journalism.
- Write down every idea I have, visual or writing. going well and actually executing some of these things.
Expand my group of real life friends.I have made some AMAZING friends this summer.- Take a new ceramics class.
- Take a photography class.
- Purchase a digital SLR camera.
- Read at least 6 design related books - 3 of them specific to newspaper and/or publication design.
- See NiN in concert.
- See My Chemical Romance in concert.
- See Radiohead in concert.
- See Coldplay in concert.
- See Gogol Bordello every time they're in Cleveland. (I've had no cash for concerts :(
See someone new in concert.Bedouin Soundclash, Lady Antebellum, Billy CurringtonBackup my digital music collection.- Try speed dating. lol no.
- Visit Las Vegas.
- Travel to Australia.
- Get a Passport.
- Travel to Vancouver.
- Spend a holiday with my grandparents in Florida. still not sure I can pull this off this year.
- Travel to New York City.
- Travel to California. Possibly in the spring.
Attend a service at the local Unitarian Universalist church to see if that's an option for me as being fairly agnostic.obsolete, i moved.- Try a yoga class.
- Try a pilates class.
- Take a kiteboarding lesson.
- Create a budget and learn to stick to it rigidly.
- Have $5000 in a savings account. That's $.20 a day for 1001 days. Duh! LOL.
- Make my own christmas cards next year.
- Get to work every day before 9:15.
- Go to bed before 2am every day. (lol) actually i've been pretty good about this. Not always, but most of the time.
- See a film at the Cleveland Cinemateque.
Ride a dirtbike again.Either get my bike at my moms in running condition, sell it, or trade it.I am even racing again and plan to get a new bike! How I missed motocross!- Get my artwork in a gallery.
- Create a new portfolio piece based on publication design.
- Write the articles for said themed portfolio piece.
- Do a variety of illustrations for themed portfolio.
- Try to get a job at an alternative weekly paper or another magazine of interest.
- Find a Therapist.
- Visit the Optometrist.
- Actually FILL the Rx for glasses.
Find a General Practice doctor.- Develop my own portfolio website.
- Learn Flash.
Make a final decision on furthering my education. Design? Journalism? Communications? Fine Art? Teaching Certificate? Massotherapy?I don't need anything.- Get HFCS out of my diet. Have found good peanut butter and break options, I avoid processed food when I can.
- Eat out once a week at most.
- Cut out fast food completely.
- Get involved in some type of community non-profit program.
Take full body pictures of myself or have them taken by someone else.- Do a series of watercolor paintings.
Do something so spontaneous it's surreal.Racing motocross again has been VERY surreal.- Design and paint a motocross helmet.
- Participate in Karaoke somewhere.
- Collaborate with someone on an artistic project - possibly a short film or video.
Watch a sunset.- Watch a sunrise.
- Watch a meteor shower.
Go camping.Slept overnight in my tent a few times before racing. :)- Go fishing.
Write a song.It's in a journal somewhere. gogo breakups.Never have more than two loads of laundry to wash. ;)Again, done very well on t his one.- Make Creme Brulee.
- Make meatloaf.
- Try a completely different recipe.
- Visit a new museum.
Talk to a stranger.All the time.Hit on a guy that I don't think I can get. And don't think twice about it.Hit on a guy that I know I can get.I am sure I have done both of these in my conquests. I didn't think twice about talking to the cutie at subway who happened to ride a very slick BMW motorcycle. Drool.- Take a trip with my sister.

- Write an erotic story.
I have a trashy romance outlined for nanowrimo next month. - Go to some type of design seminar.
- Try snowboarding.
Go out dancing.- Go to the country bar for line dancing.
- Play a game of pool.
- Swim in the ocean.
- Go hiking somewhere new.
- Take a pictures - especially when applicable to this list.
- Have a party at my place.
- Love myself. I finally know what this means.
- Give of myself.
- And cross #101 off the list.
