- No MarySues will be allowed. (This means, no fics of your female character getting sucked into the game and somehow ends up bonking Jak.) These will not be tolerated, and your fic will be deleted if this is found. Really, no one honestly cares about your character Raine Whatsherface or whoever, we're here for Jak. No original characters (obviously), unless they are just add-ins with minimal roles, or enemies. Yes, there can be exceptions to this, and if you're unsure if your fanfic will get you in trouble with the community, please ask one of us, first.
- Yaoi/Yuri must be marked.
- Be kind to the writers who write yaoi/yuri. If you don't like what they write about, tough shit. Life goes on. At least they have to warn you, first.
- Violence, sex, rape, torture, and all other "extremes" that may bother some readers must be marked. Yes, these "extremes" are allowed.
- You should probably be 18+ to read the naughty bits, but I don't honestly care. Who pays attention to that, anyway? :p If you get caught by your parents reading something dirty, too bad! Don't blame me, it's YOUR fault they caught you. (You need to have mad skillz, yo'.)
- Do not post fan fiction that was not written by you.
- Critique is encouraged, but please be POLITE. Offensive comments are not allowed, so save those "LOLZ THIS FIC SUCKS GHEY DICKS KTHX" for FF.net as Anonymous. :D If the fic posted isn't that great, please be polite with your comments and give constructive criticism to HELP them. That's what this place is for, too.
- Expect critique. Do not post your fan fic unless you are mature enough to handle other's opinions of your work.
- Do understand that some people appreciate spell-checking and nice grammar, and most of us won't hesitate to complain. Please at the LEAST spell check your work before posting.
- Parodies are welcomed. Assuming they're written with good taste, obviously.
- Cross-overs are also welcomed.
- There is really no need to state that Jak and Co. belong to Naughty Dog. We know this. You can if you want, but the disclaimer is on this page anyway. You MAY want a disclaimer for your own characters, though.
