This is a fan community for the pairing of Ser Jaime Lannister and Brienne of Tarth from George R.R. Martin's series, A Song of Ice and Fire. The series is in the tradition of many previous fantasy series -- epic and multi-volume -- but is especially loved for its daring plot twists, uniquely compelling themes, tight craft and characters that rise above the typical stock types. Among its best characters (in our *ahem* humble opinions) are Jaime Lannister, Westeros' greatest knight with a penchance for cynicism and oathbreaking, and Brienne of Tarth, the courageous warrior woman with the truest honor in the land. Put one good thing together with another good thing and you get ... well, the awesomeness inside this community. Discussions, humor, and fanworks of all stripes related to J/B are not only welcome but expressly encouraged! [ HOW TO JOIN ] First, please read the rules below, they're not too difficult or unreasonable (we hope!). If the [ RULES ] 1. Be polite to each other. If there are differences of thought, discuss and use common sense. Do not bash, gang up, troll, etc. My mama don't like no drama. 2. No Brienne hate. No Jaime hate. 3.a. Discussing either character in other pairings is fine as long as it does not deny the canon Jaime/Brienne attraction. 3.b. Discussing other ships is fine as long as it is relevant and does not descend into bashing. 4.a. Posting your own fanworks is encouraged, we are all about the communal squee. But please do not troll for feedback! 4.b. The following must be placed under an f-lock (posted as "friends only"): NWS fanart, all fanfic. 5. Recommending and linking to other people's J/B-related fanworks is allowed and encouraged. Bashing or posting it without permission is not. 6.
