Summary: Cigarettes and innocence are scattered on the parquet-laden floor, visible remnants of him and you. A half-burnt cigarette, its ashes discarded, the flame doused and complete innocence shattered, its shards floating upward to linger upon your skin, reminding you of just how much you thought you knew about the world (which is not much) before you met him.


Growing more desperate to dig it from distant memory, you ravage him, slipping your tongue in between his teeth and laving at him with such urgency, with the fervent need to know. He moans in pleasure and that’s when you remember the second flavor that you tasted from him just now—innocence. He tasted of cigarette and something else—your innocence that you thought you’ve lost for good.
