Anyway, yay to the fact that the weekends are here, because I really need to study. Such life we have. My motivation has been boosted, I'm not letting it go to waste. Life now is boring, but I'm not complaining.

Got back Math paper this week. Not good, not that horrible, considering I didn't do much Math during the holidays. Sampling is next! :D (I have no idea what it is, but I'm motivated to start studying it, wth.) Getting back GP, Econs and History next week, and god knows when's the next time I'll see my Malay paper.

I have lived in townhouses and apartments all my life. I think this is why I like rainy weather so much. There's something about a perfectly uniformed, desaturated neighborhood against a gray sky that reminds you of futuristic dystopian movies from the 80s. Any minute now, policing robots are going to come out of those creepy looking trees to make sure you haven't been reading books, and it's going to be so exciting. Also, rain sounds pretty.

Happy 14th Birthday C4!!!

C4's birthday went pretty well. Everyone arrived a bit late due to traffic conditions and construction but that didn't hinder the party at all. As I thought, it was a little overwhelming with so many people; but I think we did okay. The boys mostly spent time together playing video games while the girls sat around the kitchen and chatted. C4 made out like a bandit. I told his father not to spoil the kid... but he went out in the morning and bought him more presents on top of what we had already gotten him! Sometimes I just don't understand him. Lol. C4 seemed to like all his gifts, but was too entranced by the glowing idiot box to do much of anything besides play video games.

After Mizuki-chan and family left we played a rousing game of Apples to Apples that I actually ended up winning! I couldn't believe it... O.o; It was almost as unbelievable as the fact that we pulled C4 away from video games to play with us. Frobes and party were the next to leave. At that time Sage declared that he wanted to take Dragon and Kitty Frolfing. I had to stay home with my father because I couldn't have lived with myself if he had to drive such a long distance just to be kicked out and/or left out. My father is disabled and can't walk the course... So I stayed with him and we watched TV for a few hours. I REALLY wanted to go and sort of yelled at C4 for complaining that he didn't want to go Frolfing twice in one week. I told him that sometimes we need to do things we don't really want to do out of love for others... he just complained that I was unfair. I hope he grows out of this selfish phase soon. My father left at about 8 pm and it's about 9 pm now. I'm just sitting at home waiting for the party to come home. I hope they had fun... <3

guys, I'm not going to write an essay analyzing Will Navidson/Johnny Truant/Tyler Durden parallels. Not at all. I'm not analyzing the lack of a mother/father figure, the apparation of "father figures" in all three lives, rotting teeth, obsession with darkness, parallel dreams, inward confusion and inability to relate to others especially women. Nor am I going to talk about the house on Ash Tree Lane versus the house on Paper Street and the similiarities, nor the similiarties of threats made by Johnny Truant to Thumper, Lude, Ashley, his boss; Tyler Durden to himself, Marla, and the space monkeys; or Will Navidson to Karen Green, Tom, Billy Reston, and his children, or even the same physical effects all three men experienced. I'm not giving in. I refuse.

this book isn't getting to me at all. I think everyone who reads it adds their own footnotes, their own disturbance, their own story to this greater story. My father and brother leave today for the Rocky Mountains. Peaceful hikes with teenage boys, backpacking, living off what you carry with you. My mother, my grandparents, and I will bid them adieu and go out to supper in a well-lighted place.

I watched the cartoon version of that on Nickelodeon. lol It was really good.

Today was pretty fun. Sage, C4, and myself all went out to Frolf (Frisbee or Disc Golf) at a local park. The discs themselves cost money, however, to use the range was free so it wasn't very expensive. I got eaten alive by mosquitoes and wasn't very good, but Sage and C4 did pretty well. I told them that I would definitely be up for doing it on a weekly basis, but I won't be playing; I'd just walk the course with the boys. Lol.

After that we went on an adventure to find a sugar free cake for C4's birthday. Unfortunately, after visiting all the local super markets and bakeries we came up empty handed. No one on this side of the river seems to carry or even make such things as "sugar free" cakes. Lol. Sage gave up and ordered a 1/4 vanilla sheet cake for C4 from Walmart after all was said and done.

Gotta get up early tomorrow and get the house ready for all the guests. Tomorrow should prove to be an interesting and eventful day.

PS: Hope I didn't get poison ivy today... I'm itchy but that might just be from all the mosquito bites. DOH!

PLEASE VIOLENTLY SHOVE SOME PROMPTS AT ME. I am having major writer's block right now and I'm trying to make myself at least open the two fics I was trying to finish, but I'm just watching MTV and avoiding making phone calls instead. You should know by now what I'll write. (I can't say I'll finish everything that's suggested, but I could really use a list to pick-and-choose from.) :D?

This is going to be a very long post, most likely. I just need to let it all out already, because there's never a suitable enough time for this. I am writing this post not to brag or make anyone jealous, I have bragged it all out already :P I am writing it to have my emotions mentioned somewhere, so that some day I could read it all through again and revive those amazing moments in my life. It is up to you whether to read it or not, you already saw the teasers.

Anyone else know someone who they just cannot stand but they have to deal with them every day (or often enough)? Where every little thing, even insignificant and really not 'that' serious, is still the most annoying thing ever simply because it's them doing it?

God help me.

 

I just want to go home, hop on my bike and pedal the stress away. I know I am being so melodramatic, I KNOW I am, but I swear, every tiny little thing aggravates me.

 

Anyway! I need to spicen up my dinner plans. I need something yum but healthy and that doesn't take too long either. Anyone have any suggestions?

 

Fifteen more minutes and I'm out for the weekend. I love having Friday's off! Tomorrow I only have to go to the Doctors at 2:45pm. I should do something ... hmmm.
