Well, I got one and a half things to share. *g*
First off, if you were interested in that vid I made a while back but was unable to view it in divx form, I was able to convert it to .wmv.

And second... I've started to try my hand at writing something somewhat substantial (I did a ficlet a long time back) and decided to send the first part of it out. So, those of you who don't mind reading WIPs, I hope you enjoy and I'll welcome any sort of fb/criticism you have. :0)

Synopsis: Earth is in a lot of trouble, and Daniel feels that Jack needs to come back home.
Spoilers: It's a tag to Season Seven "Lost City 2", so pretty much anything prior should be considered spoiled. Particularly "Enemy Mine"
Warnings: None so far. Next installment(s) will deal with a very temporary character death.

Disclaimer: (is this where I'm supposed to lol?) I don't own Jack or Daniel or anything within the Stargate 'verse, if I did you wouldn't be reading this, since it'd be on TV.

I'm somewhat new to this group (but have probably chatted with a number of you elsewhere ;) )...

I recently finished my first vid, which is J/D (slash implied... not sure how successful I was at it... what I see is not neccessary what others see, etc)

I just finished my first J/D music video.  ningyouhime was kind enough to archive it at J/D.com.  You can find and download it here.  Feedback and comments highly appreciated, especially as it is a first try. ;-) 

Many thanks to ningyouhime, Beth at Dedicated to Stargate, and Lisa at Insane Revelations 
for allowing me to use clips from their wonderful vids to round out the video.  Not having a DVD drive or
a hard drive large enough to download full episodes can make vidding hard, but thanks to these wonderful
ladies I was able to get the job done.  (((Hugs))!  </span>

Can anyone tell me who a good web server/host is to go with to expand my page?  I've started making vids and want to be able to upload them and don't have the web space with my current server (angelfire).  I tried to upgrade with Lycos, but after an hour still didn't have a *member name* for crying out loud--total random keystrokes were coming up "that name is already in use"!  The domain name I wanted was fine, but not a bloody screen name!! So, I'm basically saying, screw them, and looking for somewhere else, so that I can upload my lovely new J/D video to share with all of you.

See...not totally OT.  :-)
