Introducing the "JATE CAMPAIGN 2008 "

Hi guys! we're here to present you our annual Jate project.

Last year we did a wonderful job with the "standard black operation".This time,
we wanted to make something easier but still,something productive to support
our couple and to have some fun during the hiatus.

Ozge,myself and a couple more of people(thanks a lot to Luka&Mystic for the arts)
have been working on this thing for quite awhile and this is what we came up with:

The campaign will be called "I'm a Jater Because.."
it'll be about sending letters as usual, but this time it's gonna be VERY simple :we thought that the most important thing was for TPTB to just "get our message" as "we love jack and Kate and we support them."
we also thought to all the people who don't have time to write letters
and to the ones who don't have english as main language,but still want to partecipate.

so we came up with the easiest of the ideas.simple yet effective.

All you have to do in 4 simple passages:

passage 1: choose a Jate Card from the followings and print it out

passage 2: choose a stamp from the followings and print it out :

passage 3: put the stamp on your envelope,like this
(this has been thought to make our envelopes recognizable from the putside)

As Kate checked her hair in the car visor mirror, she thought back on the day’s events, particularly her conversation with James Ford. James was Jack Shephard’s half brother and partial owner of the ranch she was at right now. The brother’s were head of the committee to get rid of the Mexican grey wolves of Granite Hollow, Arizona. Against her better judgment, Kate had accepted James’ invitation for an early dinner, and over fried chicken and mashed potatoes, she’d ended up telling him things about herself she probably shouldn’t have. And James had been more than willing to disgorge his own history. She learned that Jack had raised James from the time of their mother’s death, when James was nine and Jack was twenty. Apparently their father had been scarce before their mother’s death, and afterward he stopped coming around at all. Or, Jack had convinced him not to come around… James didn’t sound too sure which way it had played out.

Kate couldn’t help but think James might have been the lucky one by not having his father around. Too bad she couldn’t say the same.

He’d also told Kate that Jack had been running the ranch pretty much on his own since that time, and Kate couldn’t help a grudging amount of respect beginning to color her initial opinion of Jack Shephard. It was a pretty amazing accomplishment for a twenty year-old to raise his younger brother by himself and manage a successful horse ranch.

Kate smiled and flipped the visor back up. She looked out the window at the quiet, one-story, sprawling ranch home and took a deep breath. “Well, it’s not going to get any easier to face him five minutes from now.”

When she’d agreed to speak to Jack, Kate had thought it wouldn’t be such a difficult thing, but now it was all she could do not to run in the opposite direction and pretend she and James had never had that discussion. Late afternoon was already winding down, and Kate wanted to get it over with and get back into town before the pitch black of Granite Hollow settled in over “The Rocking T” like velvet drapes.

“Quit being such a wuss, Kate.” She said under her breath as she walked towards the front steps. James had assured her that Jack would be a perfect gentleman, if a little brash, and that he wasn’t prone to shooting people.

Kate wiped sweaty palms on her skirt before she knocked. As he fist connected, the dark wood eased inward, throwing Kate off balance. She caught the edge of the door and steadied herself, her eyes blinking to adjust to the change in light. “Uh, hello? Mr. Shephard?”

No answer. Kate backed out and rapped loudly on the doorframe, clearing her throat at the same time. “Mr. Shephard?”

Nothing.

Kate frowned. She imagined people probably left their doors unlocked in Granite Hollow, but it seemed odd that they would leave them wide open as well. As a niggling of concern filled her abdomen, Kate stepped inside.

A brass table lamp shone brightly on a side table, and Kate couldn’t help but glance at the photos scattered around the large but comfortable looking room. A large pine-framed photo caught her eye near the door, and she picked it up for a closed look. A petite black haired woman with an enormous smile filled the picture. She was holding a baby in one arm, her other wrapped around a tall, thin boy of about ten or eleven. Even at that young age, Kate was struck but the brilliant amber gaze and warm, slightly devilish smile.

Jack. He looked so happy, so comfortable with his mother and baby brother. So proud.

“What in the hell do you think you’re doing?”

Kate shrieked and nearly dropped the picture as she spun around. “Jack?”

“Who in the hell else would it be? Last time I checked, this was my house.”

Every line in Jack’s granite-hard body was stretched tight, and his golden eyes seemed to flicker with barely controlled rage as he filled the doorway. Kate was quick to set the photo back down and face him squarely, her heart thrumming in her throat. “I came to see you, and the door was open--.”

“So that gives you the right to come inside and snoop?” He stepped closer, and Kate was forced to step back.

Heat filled her face, but Kate refused to look down. “Of course not. It’s not like that.”

Another step and Kate found her back touching the wall and Jack blocking everything in front of her. Heat from his body filled the narrow space between them, and Kate felt a sliver of desire curl inside her stomach.

A sun-browned hand slapped the wall on the side of her head, followed by the other, and Cassie stared up in shock as Jack’s head lowered until their faces were only inches apart. “What is it like, then, Katherine?”

Kate focused on Jack’s full lips and tried to remember why she was there. The entire situation was ludicrous, surreal, and she was certain she must be dreaming.

His breath blew warm across her cheek as he settled in closer. “Well?” He growled.

Cassie pressed her fingers into her palms, her head floaty. “I—I thought you might be home and… are you going to kiss me?”

Jack smiled and Kate’s nipples hardened under his smoldering gaze.

“What would you do if I did?”

Kate shivered and forced her haze off his lips and back to his eyes. “Depends.”

Jack raised dark brows. “On?”

“How hot the kiss makes me. I’m not known for my self-control when it comes to men who can kiss like gods and fuck like stallions. Are you one of those men, Jack Shephard?”

Kate couldn’t believe what she’d just said, but it was too late to take it back. Too late to try to salvage her professional image—at least with Jack Shephard, and, Kate realized as she stared into the rugged cowboy’s blazing eyes, she didn’t care.
