Why did I create this community, you ask?
Well, there is a certain very good looking pirate, known as Captain Jack Sparrow whom I think most of us have grown to know and love ... and well, you could imagine my dismay when upon doing a search for Jack Sparrow communities on LJ, I came across none!
Thus the creation of this here community!
Now, we have a few rules ... shall I explain them?
1. This is a Jack Sparrow community only. This means no posting of pictures or information about any other characters in Pirates of The Caribbean. (Unless they're in the same picture as Jack, or the information is about Jack being involved with someone else on the cast in some way)
2. This is actually a character community, so please, as much as we all love him, not pictures of Johnny Depp out of character. There are other communities for that.
3. The general rule which applies to most communities. No flaming of the movie, any of the characters in it (especially not Jack!) and also please respect other community members. We do not condone bickering within the fandom ... if you wish to bicker, take it to your own journal. No flame wars!
4. And remember girls (and boys) he's a fictional character. He's not real, although maybe sometimes late a night we'd like to imagine he is ~_^ *cough* Erm... o_0 ... he's not real ... so really, there's no point fighting over him ... is there?
5. If you wanna post a pic, put it behind the LJ cut, no questions asked. I don't want posts saying "This is too hot for an LJ cut" because your post will simply be deleted. It's fair, don't argue! =P
6. If you write POTC slash, and you wanna link it, or post some in here ... well, LJ cut again because some of the members here might be a little ... erm.... underage ya know?
7. Finally, give credit where credit is due! Otherwise, it'll be a walk on the plank! Arrrr!!! *pulls a pirate face*
