j_sets is a friendly, creative community aimed at letting users showcase
their original sets. Sets are signatures and avatars generally used for
forums. This community is a place where members can put up their works
for critiquing or to share with others.

Please see this entry for set resources.

♥ All works must be ORIGINAL, unless you are given permission by the
artist to post their work here;
♥ All entries must include Japanese entertainment of some sort. Other
entertainment may be shown as long as at least one entry with Japanese
media is included;
♥ Wallpapers or another type of graphic may be posted;
♥ Be courteous to other members;
♥ Any brushes or programs may be used;
♥ Any dimensions are allowed (except when specified in contests);
♥ No requests! Use

graphics_shop, our sister community, for that.
♥ Ask permission to use these sets, and be sure to credit!
♥ Please use tags!*

j_sets is at the point where it has enough members to begin holding
competitions. Unless in a special situation, I myself will not participate.
These special rules will apply in competitions.

♥ All works must be ORIGINAL! No exceptions!
♥ To be considered, a signature AND avatar SET must be entered;
♥ Signature size must not exceed height 200 pixels by width 600 pixels;
♥ Avatar size must not exceed height 150 pixels by width 150 pixels;
♥ Any file type is allowed;
♥ Any brushes may be used;
♥ Any program may be used;
♥ All entries must be ANONYMOUS (meaning they cannot be posted
elsewhere);
♥ Sets entered in contests MUST have Japanese entertainment in them.
♥ If there is a theme, sets must follow it in some way.

♥ If you entered the competition, you may vote,
but not for your own set.
♥ You may not say who you voted for until after the
winner has been announced.
♥ You may only vote for one person.

I decided on prizes for this competition. I'm not sure
if the prizes will be the same kinds of thing everytime,
but this time they are this:

1st place: Banner for LiveJournal UserInfo and minibar for forums.
Everyone else: Minibars.
*Banners and/or minibars will be consistent with the theme
of the competition. :)
