AboutThe community name is pretty self-explanatory: share icons of your favorite Japanese celebrities! I know there are separate communities for (almost) every star, but here it's all lumped together for convenience.
Basic Rules:
1.)Act civil. It's the Internet, not preschool.
2.)No icon-stealing, please. People work hard on these, and some of the really good ones take hours to create. Comment and credit if the creator allows you to use them. On the same note, no hot-linking.
3.)No nude or otherwise inappropriate content. I'm pretty lenient, but there is a line.
4.)More than three icons need to be behind a cut.
5.)Feel free to provide tutorials, whether your own or a link to somebody else's tutorial.
6.)Constructive criticism only. It's not necessary to kiss everybody's ass, but no being nasty for the hell of it. It goes back to rule #1.
7.)Have fun! Don't take things too seriously.

icon_tutorial is a great place to get started.
Google Japan and Yahoo Japan image searches are great places to find pictures to use. C&P the kanji of your subject's name for easier access. It is set up almost exactly the same as their English counterparts, so don't let the foreign language intimidate you.
P.S. It says J-Icons, but I'm opening it to all forms of Asian entertainment. It's all good!
