If you have found us, it is either because you read the directions that came with the Handbasket you bought at SpecialHellsInc, or you followed the instructions of Frank the Goat and got yourself well and truly lost. If you are lost, and cute guys doing naughty things to each other in bizarre and unusual settings is not your thing, then please, drop by the FAQ page. We will be happy to put you back on the Straight and Narrow. All we ask for in return is you Immortal Soul, and any first born you happen to have hanging about the house. If of course you are not lost, then we probably already have your Soul on file, so please feel free to join in on the fun. As always, there is a selection of chilled beverages by the front door, Kane has promised to swing by and play us a set later in the evening, and two Texans who, in hindsight, shouldn’t be left unsupervised, are currently manning the BBQ. There are, sadly, a few House Rules, do not spill red wine on the carpet, do not feed the cat etc. We hate to be a bore, but when the grumbly wrath of the almighty strikes you down; at least we can say, “I told you so”. 1. Manners cost nothing. This is a less condescending way of saying, ‘Play nicely with the other children.’ 2. Please be kind enough to tag your entries. We want to make this a fun and easy way of finding AU fiction. If your story is about two pirates with Texan accents then tag it that way! Help people indulge their kinks. (On that note…if anyone wants to write about two Texan pirates…) 3. Please do not link to locked entries. It is akin to waving chocolate around at a Weight Watchers meeting. 4. Obviously, this is a J2 comm. That is not to say we do not want to read other pairings, variety being the spice of life etc. Please just use your common sense. If J2 appears for only a sneeze in one paragraph of a 200-page fic, odds are this is not the place to post it. 5. Ratings. And. Warnings. Are. Very. Important. We are not about to play the age game here. If you tell us you are 18, then great, on your head be it, but given all the drama of LJ at present, it would be best for all of us if you clearly mark your entries with all the warnings necessary. If you are unsure about a rating, always aim for caution and throw it as ADULT. 6. Have fun. 7. Yes, number 6 is a rule. To aid you in your slashy explorations, your friendly mods are happy to answer any questions. Whether the answers we give you are correct or not will depend greatly on our sobriety/caffeine/sugar intake, but we aim to do our best.
