This is a community dedicated to monthly writing challenges for the Inuyasha anime/manga series. It is unique in that stories will be submitted to the maintainer/mod and then posted anonymously.
Rules
First and foremost, please be courteous to all those who participate. Constructive criticism is encouraged, but personal attacks and flaming will not be tolerated.
All pairings; genres; ratings up to R; and characters, including original or those who are seldom seen, are welcome. Character bashing, however, is not.
Challenges will be limited to stories of one-shot length. This means that anything over 500 words up to LJ's word limit are welcome here. The only thing we ask is that you not post anything that's part of a series. We're going for anonymity here. That means we're trying to keep people difficult to identify. Identifiable writing styles are beyond our control, but that's all part of the fun.
Commenting on entries is encouraged. We just ask that the authors of the stories please wait to answer comments until the reveal/awards post is up.
Are you the author and want to know what's been said about your story? Clicking on the "Track This" button at the bottom of any post will allow you to get notified by e-mail when someone leaves a comment even though the post wasn't made from your account.
Do not post your entry anywhere before the end of the challenge month! You will be banned if it is found out that you deliberately posted something elsewhere before you were supposed to. Please don't do it. We want this to be a fun community. Don't be the one to spoil it.
Anything over an R rating is not permitted. Citrus content is okay so long as it doesn't exceed that rating.
A reminder of the next month's theme will be posted at the end of the month along with the voting post. All entries should be new works that relate to that theme. One entry per person per theme. You can find a listing of the next month's theme in the journal's sidebar.
In the event that we don't receive enough entries for a voting post to be made, the authors who enter will be awarded a participation banner for that month. There must be at least three entries for a voting post to by made. Three to four entries will result in a single award banner given. Five or more entries will result in three banners.

Genre: Not required, but encouraged.
Warnings: Please warn for anything that others might find squicksome. These things include but are not limited to character death, gore, yaoi/slash, yuri/femmeslash, teeth rotting fluff, underage character pairings, etc.
Pairing/Characters: Not required, but encouraged.
Author: Just so the moderator knows who wrote it and who to credit it to on the reveal/award post.

All entries should include any HTML formatting you need. The moderators will not go through your story for you and replace your italic or bold tags. Please make sure you include those yourself.
Voting/Reveal/Awards posts
Entries will be accepted for a month, i.e. the 1st through the 30th/31st. A voting post and theme reminder will be put up on the last day of the month, and you will have a week to decide whose story you like best. At the end of that week, an award/reveal post will go up letting everyone know not only whose story won, but also who wrote what for that month. This may get a little more streamlined as we get going, though, so keep an eye out.
