Welcome to [info]ix_awards

This icontest community is dedicated to Final Fantasy IX, a rpg on the playstation created by Square Enix. We hold contests weekly for members to submit their icons and test their skills. Feel free to join and participate in the themes. All you have to do is follow the rules.

Submitting your icon
Before submitting, make sure you and your icon follow these rules.

  • Your icon must be of FFIX. No Unofficial Art
  • Your icon must follow normal lj rules. [100x100 px, less than 40 kb]
  • Your icon must be hosted on its own server.
  • You can not use an old icon. Your icon must be new and [preferably] made for this contest.
  • Your icon must meek the week's theme's standards.
  • You must be a member to submit
  • You are not allowed to show your icon anywhere while the contest is running. If your icon is found posted somewhere else while the contest is running, you will be disqualified.

Fill that out and submit it to the post that has been labelled as the submission post. If you fail to follow all of the rules, your icon will be disqualified.

Voting
Voting will begin around 10pm GMT on Friday evening, and will continue until around 10pm Sunday evening. When voting, comment with your three favorite icons. Only vote for each icon once, and you are allowed to vote for your own icon.
When voting ends, a post will be made showing the winners. After that a post will be made with the next theme.
