Now, I'm not fluent in Russian, but thankfully, Google.com has a handy option of translating a page. I'm sure this isn't a fully accurate translation, but here's what that basically says, according to Google:

Now, I don't want to beat a dead horse, but when I see something that says 'Access restricted,' it tells me that what I requested hasn't been removed, it's only been hidden. If it had been removed, I should have gotten a page that says 'Page cannot be found' right?

For the record, here is a little information on copyright infringement, so that people can understand why people may be so upset over this:

Copyright infringement (or copyright violation) is the unauthorized use of material that is covered by copyright law, in a manner that violates one of the copyright owner's exclusive rights, such as the right to reproduce or perform the copyrighted work, or to make derivative works.

The illegal use of text content is a form of copyright infringement. It is common on the world wide web for text to be copied from one site to another without consent of the author.

We were assured that our fics would be removed. The people involved were very cooperative and were able to work out a compromise. And now, suddenly this new development, and we can't even look to see the feedback or to make sure they've linked back to the original works, as requested per the compromise.

Could someone please tell us why, suddenly, this has changed? Our first reaction is anger and frustration that our wishes were not met. Any clarification would be lovely, as we don't want there to be any unnecessary hostility between anyone, but with this, it's a bit difficult not to think that we've been deceived. It lowers trust levels, however unjustly.

Disclaimer: I obviously don't own the 30 boys, I just dream about it, har. The boys belong to themselves and the verse is of my own design.
Author's Notes: Italicized sections in this chapter are thoughts or inner dialog unless otherwise indicated. I know that's what I usually do but I wanted to throw that out there anyhow since sections of thoughts are going to be considerably longer than the traditional phrase or two. Hopefully the overall formatting will give such things away too, but better to explain than assume. I'm aiming to try and get another chapter of this out before the end of the month since the muse is pretty strong at the moment, so hopefully no more insane breaks between chapters. *knocks wood* As always, comments of any sort are welcome and encouraged. :)

And yes, I know the first chapter hasn't been posted in this comm (mainly because it was posted a year ago and I wasn't hanging out here yet lol) but I naturally have included a link to it above *points* so I'm hoping that suffices in lieu of posting it. Hey writers and readers!

Spring has arrived and we mods are pretty excited about the new fics we’ve been seeing around! But it reminds us of the Secret Mars Santa of 2007 . . . We’d been hoping to see a few more authors come out of the woodwork to begin posting, and can’t help but wonder why it hasn’t happened. We know there are a good handful more of writers that are members of/watching the community, and we understand Real Life Obligations™ can get in the way of even the most devoted writer.

However, recently it’s been brought to our attention that many people have the wrong impression of our community’s conceptual makeup. That is, people think we’re more strict than we really are.

. . . Wow, I certainly know how to ramble, don’t I?

The point of all this, guys, is that we simply hope that those of you that are writers that don’t currently post don’t feel that we might reject your posts ‘just because.’ We will always have a reason, and we’ll always give you that reason if or when we do. We love seeing and reading new fics, and I believe I can speak for Modsaurus seasidh when I say that we both certainly love getting a ‘moderated submission’ alert in our emails.

You will never be discriminated against. You will never be singled out. We will always treat you politely and maturely and, most importantly, objectively if or when we ever reject a submission. If you ever have a question about anything, whether you’re uncertain about posting a fic, or if you’d like to find a beta, or if the rules at any time seem unclear, or anything, it doesn’t matter what: Feel free to email us! Our emails are located at the bottom of the userinfo; simply copy, paste, and send!

Author's Notes: I kind of can't believe I'm finally getting around to posting this. I've gone back to it and added bits and pieces over time but something this evening clicked and the muses have let me in on where the plot is going to go. No slash in this part but it's coming in the next, I promise you. Also, yes, Matt is in this fic. He was still in the band when I started it (that tells you how long I've been sitting on it :x) and I saw no need to make adjustments for the band's current line-up. In terms of the "Supernatural" verse, this is set in the second season sometime around midseason. For those of you that don't watch the show, Dean and Sam Winchester are brothers that basically hunt the supernatural baddies of myths and urban legends. Insanely simplified, I know, but that's really all that matters in terms of the fic.

Hello members!

Once more, we'd like to point you to the tags list in the sidebar to the left of this community's main page. Many of you are using it, and this is great! However, we've noticed some pairings that repeat themselves, with the names simply in a different order.

After discussing it amongst each other, we mods have decided that it seems unnecessary to organize a pairing in RPS by the top/bottom distinction (i.e., Shannon tops Tomo in one fic, so the pairing is 'Shannon/Tomo' but in another fic, Tomo tops Shannon so the pairing is 'Tomo/Shannon'), as seems to be the case, here. For us, pairings are used to determine simply who is together in a fic, and we find no reason for there to be subliminal messages within them about who plays what role in their sex lives. I think it's safe to assume that it could be something much simpler, as well, such as perhaps forgetting which order you've previously written the pairing. There's nothing wrong with this, of course, but it has begun to clutter our tags list needlessly. Therefore, from now on, we're going to organize the pairing tags alphabetically by first names (e.g., pairing: shannon/tomo, pairing: jared/matt, et cetera). Threesomes will remain alphabetical as well (e.g., pairing: jared/shannon/tomo, pairing: jared/matt/shannon). Crossover pairings will begin with the first name of the band member of 30 Seconds to Mars, and end with the first and last names of the person with whom they are paired (e.g., pairing: jared/gerard way, pairing: tomo/david kennedy, et cetera). Implied pairings for both instances will be organized in the same way.

As your mod, I will be updating and organizing the tags throughout today and tomorrow. Once that is done, please follow them. It will make our lives easier, and any future searches you or anyone browsing the community may have will be much easier. From now on, we will keep a close eye on fic submissions, and those with incorrect or needless tags will be rejected.

Author’s Notes: seasidh found Photoshop brushes with masquerade masks and played around with them, along with pictures of the boys. I simply said ‘masquerade!fic?’ and started writing it in a comment to her. XD Copy/paste is magic like unicorns, and this was born overnight. I only hope it meets her expectations!
