AboutThis community is ONLY for Islaamic poetry. It is a closed community but anyone may join. All you have to do is contact me, the administrator, Jazzpoetry and insha Allah I will add you. In order to post poems you must join. If you do not wish to add poems you may still join or you can just add this journal to your friends list and see the poems that others post.
The poems submitted MUST be Islaamic in nature. Anything insulting to Islaam, any aspect of it, or that has nothing to do with Islaam will not be tolerated. Nothing pornographic or vulgar in language will be accepted.
As for the poets, the erring follow them, see you not that they speak about every subject (praising others right or wrong) in their poetry? And that they say what they do not do. Except those who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh Islâmic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, and remember Allâh much, and reply back (in poetry) to the unjust poetry (which the pagan poets utter against the Muslims). And those who do wrong will come to know by what overturning they will be overturned (al-Qur'aan-ul-Kareem Soorah (chapter) 26 ayaat (verses) 224-227)
