The community concept: Every two weeks, lyrics to a song will be posted as a prompt or we will give a theme and you can choose your own song. Participants are to write a story, one shot of any length preferred, that the song evokes in them. Try and write the story first, using the lyrics of the song only in certain places for emphasis - the story and song should complement, but not overwhelm each other. Members will vote for the songfic that meets this criteria and is of course well written and entertaining. And please no voting for your own entry!
Subject Line will have week number and name of song.
All posts should be made under an LJ cut and must have the following:

Rating:
Genre:
Universe:
Characters:
Warning:
Summary: (Optional)
Adult content is permitted, but must be f-locked and warnings must indicate any offensive material, or material that is not for those under 17.
Abuse will not be tolerated! That means no trolls, constructive criticism only! This is to be a fun and challenging contest community, and I beseech all who join to show respect to each other. Those who can't abide by this are not welcome!
Banners will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.
