2009 is almost here! and to make sure you don't miss a single Intrusion, here are the dates for the entire year(always on the second Tuesday of the month by the way):

On october 14th, Screaming Banshee Aircrew, and The Last Dance, play live at Intrusion, with SBA on stage just after 9, and LD just after 10, with regular Intrusion following after...with DOk and guest DJs Loki and Martin Oldgoth. Tickets can be purchased on the door, or from:

...and you thought you were safe on LJ, but NO! I am here to remind/harass you about the upcoming Last Dance gig at Intrusion in October...see Doks post below for details of how to obtain advance tickets (at a very small cost)/
But I'm also here to remind those that need reminding that Intrusion is but a week away, so make sure on september 9th, that you are in the cellar from 8.30pm til 2am, and join me, Dok, special guest DJ fenbane, and the usual crew of goth-types for a few more hours of two-stepping, stomping, glow-stick waving fun! |

It's to help those of us who wear too much black or UV and like to make music, find others who wear too much black or UV and like to make music. Every other forum seems flooded with metalheads and people who still say "Madchester". Seriously, it is not easy finding musicians into our kind of music.
So, if you're a knob-twiddler looking for shouter, or a hitter of things looking for a plucker of stringy things, this is the place for you.

The patiently awaited return of the Intrusion website is now over. It is back up and (partly) updated in all it's glory (just ignore the very dated, amateur and messy code!).

| Its our birthday, and we need YOU |

Well, its that time of year, and on June10th, we celebrate Intrusion, and it being its seventh birthday.
The very loose (and voluntary) theme for the evening is some sort of fancy-dress thing (the very vague *goths in the movies* theme), there will be prizes, raffles and cake and such like.
BUT
we need you to attend....and we'd like you to come along as early as you can. Remember, the club opens at 8.30pm and we have DJs from the very beginning.
and one very big favour we have to ask you chaps, is to send out the message to anyone you know who has attended in the distant and not too distant past, but hasn't been to intrusion for a while, and ask them to come along to help us celebrate the *SEVEN AGES OF INTRUSION*...err, ok, not really, but we would like a lot of our old intrusion-goers to make a special appearance, because they are missed and we would love to see them, as well as all of our current crowd in attendance.
Anyway, enough waffle, so we'll see you on June 10th, bright and breezy and full of summer joy :) |

Okay, getting in here early to let you all know that this years birthday Intrusion(the one in June) will have the theme "INTRUSION AT THE MOVIES"...we'd like to invite you to come along dressed up as your favourite goth movie character(or at least a character from a film who wouldn't look out of place at Intrusion)....yes, we expect at least 4 people to come as The Crow, and I'm thinking of awarding a prize for 'best johnny depp', but surprise us, and make us say "wow!" when we see you walk in :). Of course its voluntary, and the usual goth attire will be totally acceptable...but there will be prizes, cake and the usual silliness associated with birthday intrusions. |

Just in case anybody reading this has somehow missed all the other info and updates, this is a reminder that we have:
DEVIANTUK - Playing LIVE at the Feb 12th Intrusion.
Normal door entry charges still.
Band should be on stage around 9:30, so please try to arrive in good time for that.
We will also be pursuing a 'Valentine' theme, promoting irresponsible flirting amongst the single punters and awarding prizes to the cutest couples, etc. Bet you can't wait ;-) |

| February Intrusion...DEVIANT UK LIVE GIG! |

Hello, its that time again...when i remember my livejournal password and post some Intrusion news.
Okay, this is a big one!
Next week, on the 12th of february, we have the big honour of welcoming top ebm/industrial band DEVIANT UK to the cellar, for a very special gig!
The gig will start at 9.30 (intrusion itself starts at 8.30 as usual, and will run til 2am, with myself and Dok playing all of your favourites...and some obscure stuff too), and it won't cost you any more to get in than the standard door charge...so do get down there early, because you don't want to miss this!
Deviant Uk have played all over the world, supporting some of the biggest names in the EBM scene, and they're getting more and more popular, so catch them at such an intimate venue like the cellar while you can!

| Infest Ticket Required!!!! Please help! Will pay and even dance! |

Okay, so you know how a day starts badly and you know it's only going to get worse? Well, I'm having one of those and then some.
After booking my Infest tickets in back February, I've just discovered that, dispite the "Congrantulations you've paid!" message on the Music Non Stop site, my tickets were never ordered. So, I'm left with the requirement for one ticket and a week to get it.
So, if anyone has a spare ticket, knows of a spare ticket or even has heard of any rumors that there is a spare ticket, please, please, please get in contact with me!
Obviously, I'll pay for said ticket and, as an added bonus, promise to come down all the way from Welwyn Garden City and dance my gothic heart out at the next Intrusion! I'll even bring some friends!

Looks like Joff got here first!
So who's coming to the next Intrusion? Tuesday 14th August, 8.30pm - 2.00am.
Bedroom DJ Zane will be beginning the night (from 8.30pm) playing EBM and Aggrotech to get you all ready for Sinflower, playing live.
Then we hand you over to DJs Doktor Joy and Bookhouse who'll be taking us through to the early hours with a great mix of Goth, Industrial, EBM and 80's.
And the entry is only £4 (£3 with a flyer)!
