And great booty you'll find, if you can prove your might.
A place where we battle with Insults and Wordplay. That is the aim.
A little like in Monkey Island . A most wonderful game.
So join if you will and have a good time.
But remember each insult must ring true and rhyme.
The rules be easy, there are few to measure.
But if ye keep within a couplet and ye be bound to find pleasure.
Though this dreaded old sea-dog, Scourge of The Bay.
Don't mind extra in addition, to complete your melee'
Learn with the masters and play with the skilled.
Will you be a Poetry Pirate? Or a fish to be gutted and killed?
Though do remember - we want to be frank.
If you are naughty, we'll give you a spank.
