For the time being, to request posting access please comment on this entry with links to examples of your photography work. This process may change in the future. I'm not sure at the moment. Regarding posting access requests: If you have requested posting access DO NOT leave comments in my or any of my mods personal journals about it. You will be denied posting access and will have to wait a still yet to be determined length of time before being able to request again. This isn't intended to be bitchy. It's just our personal journals are just that ... personal. In addition to this, if you request posting access be prepared to be subjected to my standards. Which really aren't impossibly high. Don't be offended and act like a child if you are denied posting access. Just see what you can do to improve and request again later. It's that simple. Things that are NOT allowed to be posted here: Web cam shots of any kind Camera phone shots Common snap shots No excessive self-portraiture. Self-portraits are fine occasionally, but if that's all you do then this is not the place for you. Photos MUST be your own. No exceptions. Photos must be no larger than 700 px on the longest side. No exceptions. Anything larger will be deleted. Please do NOT disable comments on your entries or direct them to your personal journal. We all enjoy comments on our personal journal entries but this is a community and it's only fair that comments are left turned on in the community entry. You can link to photos in your personal journal, but if you do please leave comments on in the original community entry. Please try to refrain from posting photos that have a time and date stamp on them. Things just look better without it. Tasteful nudity is allowed, but please place these shots under a LJ cut with a warning. If you don't know how to do that you can findout how, here ... How do I use an lj-cut? What we're looking for: A basic sense of composition and style. Inspired photographs - as the name of the community states. You don't have to be a professional. It's not about that. It's about trying the best you can to capture your world around you. And making people take notice. Digital and film photography are welcome. Please use an LJ cut for more than two pictures. :::Weekly Themes Announcement::: As of now, weekly themes are on hiatus until further notice. We may go back to doing them sometime in the future. However, as of this moment that is still undetermined. Open posting is and always will be in effect. So please do not hesitate to keep posting to the community. Code of Conduct: I want to state that if anyone in this community (or just passing through) ever harasses one of my mods in their personal journal concerning something in this community, said person will be immediately banned from this community. There will be NO exceptions to this. I will not tolerate it. I created this community to be a place free of drama and I intend to keep it that way.
