AboutEragon was a Bad Book. Many writers are capable of doing better. So why not see just how capable we are?
In other words, we're having a short story contest. The idea is to take all the basic ideas of the Inheritance Cycle (dragons, cursed swords, farmboys-turned-heroes, elves, dwarves, etc.) and make an interesting short story out of it. No parodies allowed, because that would be too easy. Humor is, though.
The winner will probably get a banner or something. Banners are cool.
