So now the smoke has cleared and the dust has settled...
Which band tops your want list for Infest next year?

Personally i am really liking these guys lately http://www.myspace.com/psyclonnine

Seem like a hot up and coming Industrial act

Have you heard anything from them apart from the debut "Divine Infekt"?
I'd rather call them an electronic black metal (ebm, pun intended :) ) band, than an up and coming industrial act!

I guess Electronic Black Metal is another way to describe them Industrial is a word i use to describe a lot of things. They really seem to lack things i would assosiate with a black metal band but then i havnt heard everything by them yet. So they could suprise me with some harsh metal song somewhere down the line.

I second your fine suggestion..
I wrote psyclon9 down on the questionnaire form so damned hard.

..so hard in fact that i completely forgot to sneak in a vanity vote for my own band. Go me.

Freezepop would be fun too for those guitar hero flashback moments.
oh, and Skinny fucking Puppy. as i just keep fucking missing them whenever they come over here.

you have freezepop in your eye... +_*

Alice in videoland would be better!! But, I imagine, without the flashbacks.

As far as headline bands go - I'd kill for Front 242 or Nitzer Ebb.

Schattenschlag, Amduscia, Derma-Tek and Dawn of Ashes would make me a very happy boy...

Plus if i get a DJ slot next year, it would just be the icing on the cake!

p9 are a bunch of drama queens.
to cut it short they were meant to play on a party here before wgt. they got there, got ready, made the audience wait for more than an hour then they announced that they dont want to play. O.O

"Seem like a hot up and coming Industrial act". Made me laugh.

*GLIS* or C/A/T would be good. Iszoloscope... erm... Melotron... Front 242 are good live... erm... Hocico? or some other South American act... erm Les Anges des Les Nuit (prolly spelt wrong, it's first thing. I've had a hard week at work etc, sympathy pls).
I think I'm citing mainly North and South American acts 'cos they don't often play in Europe so it would be nice to drag them over.
Aural Vampire, Syrian? For those Ibiza moments... erm... That's it... for now. :)

I thought Glis had disbanded?

For a South American band I'd vote for Punto Omega.

And (insert shameless self-promotion!) of course System:FX as one of the small bands! I'd absolutely love to play InFest *grin*

I like to be surprised by the bands. So put my trust in the bookings crew that they'll pull some genius out of the hat that scant few people have heard of, who then go on to play an amazing show. One of the more memorable of all those acts must have been welle:erdball ...

Having seen Covenant, Rotersand, VNV and Apop in the last three years, that pretty much exhausts my knowledge of EBM.

Um. A few acts spring to mind actually, not headliners, mind:
Grendel, Neuoticfish, XPQ-21, Cubanate, Fischerspooner, Goldfrapp, Laibach, Cruxshadows, London Afer Midnight, Mesh, Pitchshifter, Recoil...

I am now reduced to making silly suggestions like Rammstein. Sadly not only would half the crowd hate them but you'd never get the pyro permits...

I'd have to bring the water cannon if bloody London After Midnight played. :)

Time for a lol...

Here's what I'd like and frankly, have no chance of..

Autechre
Brighter Death Now
Snog
Somatic Responses
Funckarma

But then I know I'm SO not the target audience for infest these days.

Especially as in my opinion fashion as a whole should be burned.
