About:

Meteor demolished over half of the city of Midgar. Homes were destroyed, dreams were shattered, and lives were taken. But the survivors moved forward. Some stayed in the tattered sectors that remained, but many moved to the outskirts and began to build their own city, Edge.

It has been six months since Meteor changed everyone's lives. Shinra has been crippled, and remaining members are hiding. In the meantime, three rival groups are fighting for power in a chaotic region.

Will one become victorious, or will they all destroy one another…?

Story

Sephiroth is dead.

Meteor has been destroyed.

Shinra lays in ruins.

Midgar struggles to rebuild.

It has been six months after the destruction of Meteor, and without Shinra Electric the Planet is in need of a new source of energy. Rising to the occasion, the Emerald Power Corporation has stepped up to the plate to fulfill the needs of the people since they no longer have corporate competition. Generally, they seem like a good and honest company working to provide many options to the energy crisis while still keeping ideals and goals of the common man as their number-one concern.

Seeing the fall of Shinra as on opportunity to take control, the Ikari family—a mafia from Sector 3—has jumped into the ring to contend for control of Midgar’s utilities, and Midgar itself. Knowing nothing about electricity, all their information has been stolen from the ruins of the Shinra building, giving them an advantage over their competitor as they are resorting to the same method that was used before: Mako power. Backed with a lot of money and plenty of business sense, they plan to rule with a corrupt iron fist, and will do anything to gain the advantage to make it to the top.

In the midst of all the chaos, what’s left of Midgar has fallen to the slums and is now ruled by the local street gangs. It has become a harsh environment where survival of the fittest is the law of the land. The land is lawless, and the market for bodyguards is high for even common citizens. The biggest and most violent of the street gangs, The Plague Dogs, sees this as an opportunity for crime and anarchy to thrive. Not wanting another powerhouse company to take control and restore order, the Plague Dogs have made it their new mission to bring down anyone who would threaten the chaos which allows them to take control. They are violent, ruthless, and will stop at nothing to keep the stranglehold on the public that they currently have.

After the fall of the Shinra building, most anything important that remained was looted by local gangs and the Ikaris. It was reported that there were no survivors, and even though they could not identify the President’s body, it was assumed he was dead. In actuality, Rufus was saved by his loyal Turks and brought to a secluded location where he would be hidden from the eyes of the public and allowed to fully recover from his injuries. Being the man that he is, Rufus was able to secure his fortune and has been using that to support himself, his Turks, and the future rebirth of his company. Knowing that five people cannot win a power struggle, Rufus has formulated a plan to regain control, eliminate the competition, and rebuild Shinra. Using the Plague Dogs as a pawn, he has sent Reno to infiltrate the infamous gang and give them information about three warriors that will help turn the tide in the fight for Midgar. Reno has been away for three months and is about to share this information with the leaders of the Plague Dogs.
