| About: | InapropoThought- A place to let out your insanity so it doesn't interfere with everyday life. Our wonderful little community came from this post on the Anthony Rapp community. Our first post was August 6th, 2005. We began with a mere 8 members laughing over a joke, and didn't believe that it would last more than a few weeks. It's now several months later and we are currently over 100 members strong.  1. In our community, the general, previously unspoken rule is the need to respect each other. We pride ourselves on our posters respecting each other. Understand that while we encourage friendly discussion on the merits of various subjects, the moment it escalates to where posters are being downright rude, the moderators will step in. 2. Have some semblance of grammar and spelling, please. Typos are one thing, net slang is another. 3. If you are going to post extremely large pictures or posts containing many pictures, place it under a cut. We have users with dial-up and we don't want their computers dying :) 4. Same goes for fanfiction/fanart. We allow all ratings and pairings, but be sure to place a warning at the beginning. 5. Anthony has been known to read our community from time to time. Keep this in mind while you express your thoughts. Remember Thumper from Bambi? "If you can't say somethin' nice, don't say nothin' at all." 6. Relax and have fun! We want everyone, member or not, to feel completely comfortable posting here. We encourage non-members to participate in any discussion they want to.  In light of recent events, we have decided to add this section to our userinfo. Our community is often thought of as extremely elitist and inappropriate, and we believe we should clear up a few things. 1. While our name is a shortened version of 'Inappropriate Thoughts', that is not the main goal of this community. Anything inappropriate is often in jest, and we have toned down our content greatly in the months we've been up. Most people here have a very quirky and unique sense of humor. 2. Anthony/Adam fics will pop up on occasion. However, fanfiction only accounts for about 2-3% of the total posts on our community, and the majority of it is character fiction rather than real-life fiction. 3. We also have been told that we are disrespectful and "just wrong." That is not our intention, and we believe it is safe to say that everyone on our community has deep respect for Anthony and his talent.
