| About: | It takes a certain kind of person to willfully choose employment in the restaurant business. For all those twisted individuals...this community is for you. Unlike other retail operations, those of us "in the biz" have to deal with more crap than most people can imagine, let alone handle. But somehow we do it. We turn 'em & burn 'em, and get the food out of the window. The sidework gets done, and the inventory counted. And at the end of the day we convince ourselves we're not insane for doing what we do. Are you a manager, chef, line/prep cook, waitstaff, bartender, hostess, busboy? Whatever your job title, if you're currently working in a restaurant, you are welcome here. Feel free to rant about a lousy day, share funny stories, and/or offer support to those of us who are just happy to have survived the last brutal shift. Community Rules: 1.
