Shockingly despite the youthful age of our comic (okay, so our comic is like three years old but no one really counts that, right?) we've actually been reviewed. Not once, but three times by three different reviewers on the website "Caught Stealing Brains". And even though we've barely (barely) scratched the surface of the comic's story yet, the reviews were (somewhat hesitatingly in some cases) all positive!
While I personally disagree with some of the points made by the reviewers (who all seem to dislike Ark) I can always assume that, should they continue to follow the comic they'll get to know the Fruitbat a little better.

Many thanks to S-san who covered for me last week when I completely lost my brains and forgot about this place. To prevent me from doing that again, we're doing something a little different with the community here!
Starting next week, not only will this space feature a new page announcement but also commentary! You'll see what the Akro and I have to say about each page as we post it, as well as encourage you all to leave your own commentary too. ^_-

Ahoy there. It's the Akro. If there's anyone alive out there, the comic has been updating. I guess we somehow forgot to post the status here...
Script II, "Ark the Gunfighter", is progressing nicely. With the Pumpkinhead Freaks getting their very-much-deserved demise from the guns of our titular hero, the time grows nigh when the Troubleshooters will be united against the Freaks.
What we need is more readers. If you like Ark the Improbable, tell people about it. Convince them to become readers. The more readers we have the more motivated the Nyan will be to get the comics up on time. We'll also be changing the layout of the comic fairly soon, so that the main page immediately displays the current page rather than you having to click on a thumbnail. The current set it up exists for reasons of bandwidth.

We're doing good as far as updates go this year. I didn't make an announcement on the community last week, but because of the holidays there wasn't a comic. Just art. So for those that missed it, the holiday pictures can still be found in the gallery. :3 Enjoy!

I have to make this announcement now before I don't have the opportunity anymore. X_X
First of all, updates are now going to happen Tuesday evenings instead of Mondays. The Monday thing just wasn't working out for my schedule and it just wasn't working. Tuesdays will give me much more reliable updates.
Secondly, the page you guys are getting tomorrow is just going to be inked, not toned. The unfortunate reason behind this is that my monitor is dying. Rapidly. I mean, it's probably going to be shot by Wednesday, if not tomorrow. (heck, maybe even tonight--although I'm praying that's not the case) Because of the problem I'm having with it, toning a page would be impossible. So. :/ Take what you can get I guess? I'm trying to get this problem fixed as soon as possible and then once I do any ink-only pages I had posted will be updated.
Sorry about all the problems lately folks, but we're seriously trying to get this streamlined into something that actually works. X_X

Sorry about last week everybody. There was some technical difficulties (involving me being a clutz with a glass of juice and the page needing to be redrawn). But! We're back and good as new. If you want to fully know what's going on please read the news on the front page.
Also, we now have a donation button. I'm not expecting much out of it, but hey. Doesn't hurt to try.
