o1. In order to be accepted in to the community, you must first apply to join and friend the community in order to be accepted. If your journal is friends only, please make sure there is something in your profile linking you, somehow, to the Military. (Marie handles all pending memerships; If you have any questions about why you were rejected, please contact her only) o2. Please keep all posts on topic and "friends only". Meaning it must be related to the Military in some way and locked to be viewed by our community only. Example(s); About your SO, the Military in general, dealing with your SO's family or your own (Depending on the situation). If the post is not appropriate, a MOD will comment asking you to either edit or your post or delete it. If nother occur, then the post will be deleted by a MOD. o3. Do not promote other communities, unless you have gotten permission from one of the MOD'S. You must then say which MOD gave you permission to promote said community. o4. All pictures must be placed behind a cut. A MOD will ask you once to put the picture(s) behind a cut, if you don't do it the first time. If it's not behind a cut within a week of the MOD'S comment, the post will be deleted. The only exception is if it's Military related and you have a MOD'S approval to post without a cut (You must also provide which MOD gave you permission to do so). o5. If a post is extremely long, we expect you to use your best judgement, then please put it behind a cut, especially if you're x-posting. o6. Do not make a post, only, thanking other memebers for comments, thanking them for making something for you, asking them to make you things, or anything of that nature. There are other communities out there strictly for making graphics. If you wish to thank someone for something, simply reply to the comment they left you, e-mail them, or leave a comment on their personal journal. o7. When posting a picture of your Soldier in uniform, or any other Soldier, the name, unit and rank must be blacked out, in one way or another (It must not be visible). If the name and rank are not blacked out, a MOD will comment to your post then it will be deleted. First and last names of any Soldier are not to be mentioned under any circumstance. o8. When you fill out the survey, please include the phrase 'backwards and forwards', where it asks if you've read the rules, so that we know you've read all the rules. o9. Icons, or other graphics, are not to be taken from the community, or from members of the community, without their persmission. Anyone who is caught breaking this will be removed and banned from the community, no questions asked. 10. If you have a problem with another member of the community, take it to a MOD to dicuss your concern instead of the member. Drama posts made in the community will not be tolerated. If the situation continues, both members will be removed from the community. 11. Do not start drama. This means do not make posts saying you have a problem with a certain individual or what you don't like about the community. Take any problems/concerns to a MOD. Or complain about it in your personal journal. That's what it's there for (Yes we realize this is very similar to No. 9, but some people don't seem to get it) 12. You have four days, from the time you were accepted into the community, to post the Member Survey (Found below). If you fail to do so, you'll be removed from the community. You may re-apply to be accepted back into the community, if this happens, but you must still post the Member Survey. 13. If you're going to post Military related poems, lyrics, or anything along those lines, make sure you look over this section of the memories. If you re-post something that's already be posted (especially if it was recently), a MOD will comment to your post then your post will be deleted (More then likely). No questions asked.
